Megève is one of the highest class resorts in the alps and so is a great experience but you don't have to spend a lot to enjoy. The main pedestrian street is great fun to explore. It has truly unique shops and world class galleries and the people watching is most interesting.

Megeve would be a different experience if the snow had arrived in time for our ski trip. As it was, we left half a day early to reach our second destination in Meribel. Meribel's slopes are higher up so they had more snow. Megeve feels like a lovely "locals" spot...plenty of fun runs for all levels if there was more snow on the ground. But you could literally spend an entire week at Les 3 Vallees, just an hour away. The town of Megeve was more charming than Meribel if I had to choose a "charming award"...with it's cobblestone streets and horsedrawn carriages....beautiful shops and outdoor space for food/drink...it's very picturesque. The more energetic apres ski scene is at Meribel...Le Folie Deuce, etc. The food at Nano Cafe was exceptional for lunch in Megeve! And the fun scene at Le Ferme Saint Amour was special...not everyone was in sequins and heels, like they suggest, however. And the entertainment at the early seating was mild, unlike their more festive marketing shots on IG for the restaurant. Service there was wonderful, but it was a spendy meal for the mild entertainment vs our expectations. Perhaps the later seating is different, but with teens we were not offered that option. Just something to note. Hotel lobbies are a great destination for drinks...M Hotel and Park Lodge especially.

Megeve is too expensive, but it's clear that they try to be high-end tourist town. We were there for the Tour de France so we didn't spend much time in the town. I think it has plenty of options also for the winter (skiing).

Once I have checked in the receptionist was pleasant but somewhat confused. I have asked for slippers and bath robe but she answered that I had the lowest entry and it was not possible. Since the hotel was not complete I have told her that I'm a Genius level with Booking to what she replied that she did not what I was talking about and that she will see it with the Manager. Obviously it never happened...These types of little courtesies would really help as while one is constantly being reminded how great are the advantages booking via Booking is is not what it seems to be.
Location is perfect very near from Megeve center
The size of the apartment so good , 3 bed rooms with very nice decorations, very cozy living room with big smart TV and Netflix so my kids was so happy
The kitchen was fully equipped with every thing you want
Big dining table
There was a washing machine in the basement, it mad my stay very easy with alots of kid’s clothes
Owner of the apartment very kind and helpful
The apartment was so clean when we checked in
Definitely i will go back there
Strongly recommend this apartment
The property was in a great location; particularly for skiing as it was right next to the Mont Du Abrois & Rochebois Gondola. The property had good facilities for a small group. There is a FREE Shuttle Bus which runs down to Megève throughout the day; however, this stops at 19:30. The Property Manager was very helpful and responded to queries quickly. Gaining access on arrival was easy after following the instructions provided. Skiing is great for all levels.
This apartment has an excellent price-quality ratio, especially for a ski resort like Megève. The staff from the agency is exceptionnally nice, helpful and available. I recommend 100% this agency. The apartment is clean, beautiful, almost brand-new and confortable. It is appreciable to have a bath tub, washing machine and dishwasher. It is also very quiet, with a beautiful overview on the mountains all around.
Beautiful hotel to stay at, would have been better if there was snow. Nonetheless, the view is beautiful and we get to see the sunrise every morning.
Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and tried their best to help us make reservations, give us recommendations and made sure that our stay was comfortable.
The heater was not very warm but it was comfy enough for us. The room is clean and cosy.
Everything!! Beautiful Room very authentic gives you a real lux chalet feeling! loved the shuttle service to the main hotel and to everywhere in megeve very very comfortable and helpful! special thanks to reception, shuttle driver (Antoine ) very helpful and explained the history of the place ! We stayed in the main chalet which was very easy access to everywhere !
It’s a lovely apartment with great views across the valley. It is around 2km to walk into the centre of Megeve but it has parking and is very close to Casino. The Princess ski lift is a short drive away. I went with a friend, so one of us had the sofa bed in the lounge; it was fairly comfortable and easy to get out and put away each day.
There is an idea that when the high management is of a high level, the workers they have are of a high level, but I was surprised by the service that was indifferent and not on the efficiency of the hotel and the reputation that I was accustomed to... at this hotel I preferred to speak to higher management rather than workers.
Nice cosy rooms, extremely friendly and accommodating personnel that attended to all our needs and even more, nice breakfast (as expected though for a good French hotel in that destination) and a good restaurant that offered a dinner equal to the great restaurants in Megeve.
Beaumier Group created a magical experience for us again. Alpaga does have an excellent location for those whom are seeking privacy while being not so far away from the town.
Best part of the vacation was the staff. They were always helpful, warm and welcoming.
The hotel consists of the four large wooden cottages. It is approximately 15 walking minutes away from the Megeve center. It has ski shop on site, spa, sauna and a pool outside. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated with the fireplace.
Very stylish and cosy hotel, the room was great, enough space and facilities for a couple with our baby boy, and an amazing view of Megeve.
The staff was kind and helpful, all in all a very comfortable and original experience.
The location was perfect for easy access to all ski areas in Megeve. The chalet was very homely with good continental breakfast. Host was very helpful with recommendations for skiing and restaurants.
The location! The heart of Megeve. Very clean and the staff are lovely they even helped me get a package that I ordered online while I was there and I was facing problems with the delivery
A huge thanks to the whole team for their service and constant concern for our comfort. You made our stay in
Megève such an unforgettable experience.
