We love the independent nature of this hotel rather than the motorway chain hotels. The staff are extremely accommodating and the food is excellent. There is a lovely cave across the street which we always buy wine from. We have recommended this hotel to several friends.

They were very understanding when we arrived late for breakfast (it ends at 9am or 9.30am). Gave us a free room upgrade so the dogs could exit easily via the terrace. Handy spot for wine buying too.
