The curtains were good blackout - my daughter had no trouble getting to sleep even while it was still light outside. The family rooms had 2 separate sleeping rooms - perfect for us! We forgot my daughter's teddy and they have called us to organise it's way home - I REALLY appreciate this!!! More comfortable sleeping arrangements than the Ibis Budget on the other side of Troyes for our family :)

A wonderful almost hidden gem, the whole town is a living museum full of lovely historic buildings by chance exactly as they were hundreds of years ago. We continue to be amazed at the sights within the town.
Cannot recommend too much the Chez Félix restaurant in the town centre, great food, lovely staff, very pleasant atmosphere appealing to all ages - and delicious Champagne!

It's a busy town, but our host gave clear instructions to find free parking within a five minute walk. This property is right in the historic heart of Troyes, so you really get a feel for the place. The architecture is stunning - tall timber framed merchant houses, and some other stone built elegant structures too. With just a one night stay, and a ferry to catch the following day, we had nowhere near enough time to appreciate it - and no time to visit any of the amazing churches. We need to come again to enjoy it all properly. We ate at a popular grill restaurant in one of the old timber-framed buildings. It was buzzing and busy, but they fitted us in. We enjoyed local food and some champagne from the region.

The old town is lovely: fascinating architecture and quaint laneways. Not buzzing with cars so easy to get around on foot. Every encounter with the locals was pleasant. A nice place to soak in la vie francaise.

The city centre was easily accessible being level with plenty of restaurant options. The old buildings gave the city a wonderful atmosphere and there are many things of interest to visit. I will return for a third visit.

Troyes is a fantastic, friendly, safe city.
Troyes is a fantastic, friendly, safe city. Easy to walk everywhere and so much to see and do a few days is not enough. The museums, medieval houses, churches are fascinating .It is like walking into history. Don't forget to visit the Mediatheque, the collection of ancient books is amazing. After an afternoon of exploring try one of the many cafes for something yummy to eat. Then take a night stroll down to the canal to see Troyes lit up at night!!
The hotel is in a great location, the room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and gluten free bread was provided. I reserved a parking space on booking but was told no spaces when I arrived but was sent to a nearby secure garage for the same price. so inconvenient but not a problem. There was a small bar but no restaurant.
The house is nicely decorated and clean, Emily was a great host and made sure we had all the information we needed for check-in and information on the local area.
We only really stayed for one short night whilst we were travelling back to the UK from South of France, but it was the perfect place to stay and was very comfortable.
We have stayed here on several occasions pre Covid this was the first time since. Much the same as before need to book car parking for which there is a charge. Nice outside space at rear of hotel, it is close to the town and a 10% discount is offered to guests at a nearby, reasonably priced and quite good restaurant.
Nice size room, very comfortable beds, good breakfast buffet. Underground Secure parking (additional 10euros but worth it!). 10 minute walk into Troyes and although hotel is next to road we heard no noise. Travelled as family and had linked rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was relatively easy to drive to considering it’s only a few minutes walk from the centre of Troyes. Good indoor parking close by at reasonable extra cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely presented (as was the whole hotel). Good breakfast.
This was our 2nd stay at this charming property which is only matched by the charming Jennifer. On our 2nd trip we arrived from the south of France after a long journey and Jennifer had prepared for us a lovely board of delicious cheeses and bread.
Room was comfortable, quiet and adequately sized - and it had a bath!! Breakfast was typical Kyriad.Nothing exciting but good just the same. We didn't need to eat in the evening but there is a pizzaria next door which we used last year.
Brand new hotel on the outskirts of Troyes. Excellent stop-over point if you are travelling on to the South of France or returning. Rooms spartan but clean and fresh. Breakfast OK. Next door the the largest Decathlon store ever!
The food served in the restaurant was surprisingly good for a basic chain hotel. Handy place to stay for an overnight stop if travelling through France. Plenty of parking. Reasonable choice of food at breakfast.
The host was very helpful, advising us on where to eat etc. The welcome wine was much appreciated. The location was excellent. It was a perfect stopover stay on our way back from the south of France.
The location was good within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There was safe parking at the hotel. The room was comfortable and a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet room. Great breakfast - not often you get eggs & sausages in France, as well as the usual continental food. A few minutes from the station / old town.
Very convenient location when travelling with car. We used this hotel for a stop over, while travelling from Switzerland to North of France, and we had an excllent overnight rest.
Great location close to the railway station and the places tourists want to visit. The old house is interesting and typical for Troyes. We had a quiet room and slept very well
Perfect location for visiting Troyes town centre, multiple shops and restaurants just around the corner from the flat.
Easy parking in the surrounding streets.
