The rooms were so spacious and the house so grand.
The rooms were so spacious and the house so grand. When my friend walked in she declared "it's like being in an episode of Brigeton" it felt very luxurious and we all enjoyed feeling like royalty for the night! The host, Bernadette was a delight and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Lovely little touches like homemade smoothies and fresh flowers ready on arrival heightened the experience. Also very isolated in beautiful location but only 20mins from Gorey town and Brittas bay. Lovely breakfast cooked fresh to order and served on bone china was the icing on the cake.

The scenery, the beach, hotel and the people are great. Visit the place and you’ll not regret it.
We stopped by the Greens Restaurant and Berry Farm. We had coffee with this lovely meringue cake mixed and berries since they serve lunch at 12:30, we were a bit early. Of course we bought fresh strawberries, jam and salad dressing locally produced.

The location was good. near Courtown beach ,Unfortunately because of the weather we didn't get to use the beach. we intended going to Brittis bay but had to cancel because of the weather. Gorey town with good choice of restaurants to suit everyone. Arklow good shopping centre with cinema and Maritime museum. Wicklow a short drive away which has the most stunning scenery. Make sure to book well in advance for eating out.
We eat in Gorey town each evening. Book early in the morning as the restaurants are very busy.
I stayed here with my wife and daughter for a short Christmas break. Woodleigh Lodge is a fantastic find for us. It is 5 Star quality. The owner of the B&B, Sue was incredibly nice and welcoming. The B&B is only a few minutes stroll from the lovely seaside village of Courtown as well as a 5 min drive from the center of Gorey. Our breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Honestly, this is the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here again and are already planning a summer break.
We stayed over on our way from Cork to Dublin. The house is situated in a quiet location with a small stream nearby. There are convenient parking spots and a nearby playground for kids. There's even a tennis court just next door. The host is ultra-friendly and nice and the place is quiet.
If you're looking for a place to eat nearby, you should try out Katie Daly's Bar & Restaurant in Gorey. A lovely pub-restaurant.
There's nothing not to like the location to Dublin is less then an hour less depending where in Dublin you live, spa is fantastic beautiful calming love it, restaurant and bar 10 out of 10, the walk through the forest to the beach stunning, 15 minutes to Gorey its perfect in every way. Seafield Hotel is my go to place my piece of heaven and harmony.
John and Philomena, along with Cathal and Roisin, gave us the warmest of welcomes and made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. This is a beautiful country house set in the woodlands close to the village of Killinieran and very accessible to all the wonderful sights around Wexford. I will definitely return
Location is amazing here! It was a very peaceful stay. The place was spotless with everything you need and more. The lodge was very cute. It was a bonus that we could bring our dog (who had the best time). Beach 15 mins walk down the road, Tara Hill 5 mins walk from the Lodge and 10/15 mins to Gorey. Highly recommend.
Located an easy 30 minute walk from Gorey Town centre. Footpath and lights all the way.
Great place to stay if you're going to an event in the nearby Marlfield House. Just a 10 minute walk from door to door.
Owners were lovely and helpful. Even gave us a lift into town for breakfast. Great stuff altogether.
Lovely quiet area. Hens at the back of house. Close to gorey town and courtown. Friendly staff. Got to use granny flat with private entrance instead of two separate rooms as my son has autism and gets anxious in strange places. Really pleased with this. Home from home
The breakfast was the only thing that was fresh. Food in the restaurant inside the hotel do not get it anyone it’s all frozen food it’s not hard to cook from fresh chips we’re so bad I almost lost a tooth. Chicken wings back bone (frozen) very poor
We went for our Anniversary, on the day Riverfield left a beautiful bouquet of Yellow roses and a Puneet of Wexford strawberries in our room it was the cherry on top of a fantastic stay in a fabulous Bed and Breakfast ❤️❤️❤️❤️ THANK YOU RIVERFIELD
The Ashdown Park Hotel is a busy hotel and for good reason! It is a good value, well situated location-wise, and offers the best breakfast anywhere. Farm to table dining throughout and the most exceptional fruit scones I've ever tasted!
Gem of a property.
So close to quite unspoilt beaches
Close to both Arklow and Gorey.
Sure Dublin just up the road.
Lovely farm animals - pigmy goats and even peacocks nearby .
Need to liase with host re keys and keypad code
Super property, in quiet street, close to local beach’s and Ardamine town. Large rooms, superb en-suite. The hosts were excellent to deal with. I would highly recommend this property if you are exploring the north Wexford area.
Cosy, private and quiet. Beautiful decor and exceptionally clean. Only a 2 minute walk from the heart of Gorey Town. Bernie was very welcoming on our arrival.
