I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

This apartment is a gem in Kenmare with phenomenal views of the Kenmare Bay. The place is cosy, quiet and only a 10 minute drive to Kenmare town. The apartment was handed tidy and stocked up with everything that we needed to live there for a week. Geraldine has been a super host , extremely easy to communicate with and she's always around if you need anything. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a getaway in Kenmare.

We had a wonderful experience at Druid Cottage. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom is on the small side, but it worked well enough for us. The location is quiet at night despite it being next to the main road in and out of Kenmare. Our host recommended a few dining and drinking places to check out in town that turned out to be perfect. We had a wonderful cooked breakfast the next morning and chatted with the host before heading on our way.

This B&B is in an ideal location, within walking distance of Kenmare Town itself. Philip the host is very informative if you need to know where best to go. The accommodation was truly so clean and the room I had was very quiet, I couldn't hear any traffic. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, I would go back here again. Kenmare has some fabulous restaurants and it is in an ideal location to travel to West Cork and other parts of County Kerry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Bridge Street Townhouse. The hotel was lovely, centrally located for walking around tiny Kenmare, and parking was convenient. We received recommendations for dinner (Kenmare has lots of choice), and Lucy gave us great suggestions for stops along the Beara Peninsula the next day. It was a lovely visit and we could have easily stayed another night.

The property is located within 5 min walking distance from the center of the town of Kenmare. The room had a very nice view over the well taken care of garden. The host is very welcoming, friendly and nice. She gave us good tips about landscapes in the area and places to have good food. The internal design was very nice and everything was neat.

The B and B was very tastefully furnished with a large bedroom in a perfect location. We loved the small town of Kenmare. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order and far exceeds bigger hotels. Lucy and her staff work very hard and we felt very comfortable and would not consider staying anywhere else should we re-visit Kenmare.

Restaurant, bar on premise. Staff attentive and very friendly. We came back a second time on our 3 weeks in Ireland. Would return and recommend to all.
