I stayed 4 nights, had a lovely room, the breakfast was great, and the beef casserole in the evening was amazing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There's a very special atmosphere at Jacobs Well. You can tell that the hotel is much loved by the owners and staff, as well as the customers.

My friends breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately I selected the fresh fish which was dry. It needed a sauce.

I loved staying at the Coolaingo B&B. The proprietor, Maura, was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. She provided a truly exceptional breakfast. Room and facilities were immaculate. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet and peaceful.

We liked the fact that the Rathdrum was situated in a nice quiet even remote area of Wicklow but yet not far from Wicklow town. The hosts were nice, very helpful and the breakfast was ample. I cannot comment on the main house we were only in the breakfast room as we were in the log cabin at the rear. I would recommend the Rathdrum for a nice quiet stay in the countryside.

Lovely village community, but nothing in the village to do.
Lovely village community, but nothing in the village to do. It's an area where you need your own transport to get around efficiently. Also traffic in village chaotic and parking in the village is inadequate. Nevertheless it is still a nice area to stay in and visit. We do hope to go back in the near future.

From the minute we arrived at the gate to the property, Francis appeared with her smiling face and welcomed us to Meadowbrook. It was lovely to get such a personal welcome while following all social distance guidelines..Francis had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The personalized welcome note and chocolates were a lovely surprise. The property is in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful Wicklow scenery and Francis was very helpful with directions .The homemade treats delivered to the doorstep were a big treat, especially after a long day sightseeing. The families 2 dogs are friendly and very quiet and add to the homely atmosphere of the property.I hope to return to Meadowbrook and stay a little longer next time..
If there were awards for Hostess 's Francis would win First Prize for her hospitality and property.

Fairly centrally located for visiting historical attractions...
Fairly centrally located for visiting historical attractions, or the coast. Not a big choice in eating establishments, but what they had was good. Would highly recommend “Bates” restaurant, down a charming alley. Sadly, “Avondale House”, a local attraction was closed for renovations. Do visit Glendalough!
Daphne was so helpful and flexible. The B & B is really lovely and we were very comfortable. Plenty of space. Very clean. Easy to find. She is not too far from Glendalough and there was parking in the rear. The breakfast was our favorite during our week long stay in Ireland. We had some special requests and she was good enough to work with us. My husband wants me to email her and request the recipe for her porridge. She gave us suggestions for where to eat dinner, etc. She was very friendly and made our stay a great memory.
it was a unique experience is a quiet location in Co Wicklow. The wagons were well spaced apart, there was plenty of facilities, two separate kitchen areas, a toilet and shower block, baby changing area, lovely walks, great views, lots of fridge space, there was fire wood available if you wanted to light a little fire, there was a secure gate at the front of the property. All areas were clean and tidy.
The location of the B&B is in the town of Rathdrum. Many movies have been filmed here and its location to many historically sites are very easy to drive to. The property on a busy small street can full you because of the courtesy of the all the drivers. The B&B secrete is in the rear gardens, trees and ponds. Plenty of places to eat and drink in town also.
Tom was friendly and helpful on our arrival, giving us a quick tour of the apartment. The location was good with lots to do in the local area and a good sized shop located just down the road in Rathdrum. It was an excellent base to climb Lugnaquilla (the highest peak in the Wicklow mountains).
We had the wonderful little apartment for three days. Everything was perfect, and we instantly felt like we were home. The host even prepared some scones, bread, marmalade, and other goods for us. If you want to visit the Wicklow mountains, I highly recommend you stay in this apartment!
Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable. This B and B is located just outside of a small town in a very quiet and quaint little spot. Very close to the Wicklow mountains and Glengalough. There are many things to see in this area and this place is well worth the stay.
Daphne was very kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated with super comfy beds ! The breakfast was excellent ! We tried the full Irish breakfast and the blueberry pancakes. Perfect stay well located to visit Glendalough and the Wicklow mountains.
Tom greeted us and sized us up in the five minutes during check in. Rayworth siblings traveling through Europe.
Tom accommodated our need for breakfast at 0700, and I'm grateful. Beautiful property in late Spring time!!
Dinner at Jacobs Well Hotel was fantastic!!
We (3 sisters) had a fabulous stay here in Glenbeg for 2 nights in August. Close to some wonderful scenic areas of Wicklow. Comfortable beds, breakfast outstanding and price very reasonable. Wonderful host in Shelley. Definitely will return.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay to explore Wicklow, look no further. This little place is perfect with the added bonus of everything you need for a yummy breakfast. Thank you Frances, you are truly a super host.
Ann's place is very nice and comfortable, quiet, perfectly located to visit wicklow around.
Ann wants to make your stay as good as possible.
And the Irish breakfast is incredible!!
Thank you Ann
Spotless, comfortable, modern apartment. Ann couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. Lovely treats left on arrival. Great location, quiet but central to alot of Wicklows scenic walks etc.
We loved the location and getting to see a bit of the real Ireland. The apartment was incredible and the apartment was so big. I only wish we had more time to spend there.
Perfectly located to explore Wicklow. Despite being just off the road our room was quiet and our stay refreshing. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful.
