We had a meal in the restaurant & it was fabulous 👌. The nicest meal we ever had.

We had hoped for a room in the Castle itself, so we were initially disappointed when told we were in the Guest House/Gatekeeper Cottage at the entrance to the Estate. Until we opened our Room door that is. Amazing room with lots of space, a clawfoot bath and a separate seating/office area. Plus a 4 poster bed made it even better. Very comfortable and a lovely stroll up to the Castle for Dinner. Packed up in the morning then drove up for breakfast. Loved the fact that the Irish Wolfhound (pictured) was immortalised in the stained glass in the Dining Room.

Good shower, good food lovely staff great location
Very nice town, and very clean.
There was a lot going on the weekend we were there, but it was still very easy to get around and find parking adjacent to the town centre.
Our kids loved the Aquadome and would have stayed there for the entire visit!.
Tralee was also a great starting point for daytime to Dingle, Killarney, etc.

Tralee is a small town, but that is a large part of its charm. We were fortunate enough to stay in Tralee while they had a street festival in the town square, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I can't give many tips after only a one night stay, but I'd definitely recommend a pint at The Blasket pub followed by dinner at Cassidy's. A walk through the rose garden is also recommended.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the people, the Museum of Kerry, the Central Park and of course the live music and Guinness in some of the old bars. Public transport didn’t seem that good though and I decided to take a taxi to the airport which was about 30 Euros with a tip which I thought reasonable for the distance.

We stayed in Tralee for football, we only planned one night and would have loved to have stayed for two nights as its a long drive for only one night. The accommodation was perfect, the host was a genuine lovely lovely lady. The accommodation was close to all amenities which was perfect for us. It was excellent value for money as breakfast was included. Free wifi. There isn't much in Tralee to do to be honest but it suited us for what we went for. The shops are good if you're interested in shopping and there are some fabulous restaurants to choose from and also some lovely quaint coffee shops along the shop street which we tried out. All in all my experience was excellent and as I have stayed in Tralee before it met all the usual expectations of our trip and i most definitely will go back (for football) but for sightseeing I think Killarney is the place to go or Dingle. But . . for us Tralee was 100%,
Very welcoming and excellent breakfast- a variety of fruit selection and options of breakfast- full Irish, salmon and scrambled eggs or Home made pancakes. Both Tim and Rose are kind and excellent hosts. They made tea for us at any time we wanted. We felt very welcomed. Thanks to the hosts. Tim gave us some useful tips about the local area. The house is just next to Tralee city centre and was a very convenient location to get to Dingle peninsula which is a must visit in Kerry.
A beautiful cottage renovated with high end fixtures; tranquil location and excellent hosts! Their hospitality was unmatched during our stay in Ireland—with items in the fridge, fresh eggs from their hens, fresh baked bakery bread. Our children loved the property and seeing the Christmas tree farm and feeding the pigs. A highlight of our trip for sure! We used this location to explore the Dingle Peninsula but could have also explore Killarney and beyond from here.
My room was very clean and comfortable and I could see the mountains from the Window. The location of the Hotel is very good. I could walk to Tralee square where all the shops and restaurants were, I could walk to the museum. I could drive 20 minutes to Finnit Beach and Drive 20 minutes to Banna beach. I could use the Leisure Centre provided I booked due to Covid. The staff were very nice and helpful and friendly. They have a free car park for guests.
Property is in an excellent location just a 10 minute walk from centre of Tralee. Room was very spacious and extremely clean. Great selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were super friendly always acknowledged us even when just walking past in a corridor. Excellent covid 19 measures in place felt safe and at ease for the duration of our stay. Would highly recommend Meadowlands Hotel. Family friendly hotel my 3 year old loved his stay.
This was a lovely B&B just a short walk from nature trails through the woods. The room was so clean and comfortable (my best night’s sleep so far on our Ireland trip!) and there was coffee, tea and biscuits in the room to enjoy. Josephine served a delicious breakfast and gave us wonderful suggestions for our trip.
Everything was wonderful. Especially at a wedding I attended. The staff went over the top to insure I didn’t get expose to any of the allergens I told them about as well as offered delicious vegatarian options. Beautiful wedding and reception. Loved my trip to Ireland.
The Barrow House is fabulous! One of our favorite stays in Ireland. The location is amazing, and Daragh the host is friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. If you’re considering staying here don’t hesitate! Book it! I guarantee you’ll love it!
Hotel is lovely & the food & service for our evening meal & breakfast was great. Our rooms were comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. Perfect location for touring the Wild Atlantic Way. The town of Tralee is nearby & it looked nice as we travelled through.
A lovely Georgian hotel in the centre of Tralee. Friendly professional staff, lovely food especially the steaks and chocolate brownies, nice quiet room. I felt very safe travelling alone. I intend to use this hotel as my "second home" every time I come to Kerry.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was right in the middle of tralee. The dinner was delicious, however the desert was average, especially the apple tart. The rooms were comfortable, but the variety of channels on the television was very poor.
One of the best hotels I ever stayed at. Everything was just perfect - from design to staff attitude to cleanness. Thoroughly recommend. Street parking at times was a challenge but I always managed to find a place within walking vicinity.
The location was a perfect home base for traveling the southwest side of Ireland! Our host Sandra gave us great ideas and tips for places to see and do. And the breakfasts were absolutely amazing!!! Would definitely stay here again!
