Really great hotel, in a very handy location. Quirky but extremely well appointed and comfortable. Didnt get a chance to dine at the restaurant but it looked great also and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The biscuits to accompany a coffee were appreciated.

We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.

Good sized room and ensuite.
Good sized room and ensuite. All absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Useful facilities.
Nicely positioned off the main road so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Not too far to coast with beaches and coastal path. Friendly and helpful owner with a good knowledge of area and enthusiasm when recommending things to see and do.

At first wasn’t too sure about New Plymouth but the more we walked around the city the more we liked it. It’s a very tidy city with lots of amazing murals painted on buildings, tidy and clean with every shop you could think off. It is handy to the foreshore and a beautiful walkway and within a few hundred metres from beautiful Pukekura Park on other side of township, a must visit.

Awesome place to stay with a good location. Very calm in a nice neighbourhood and yet close to New Plymouth. Christine and her hubby are very welcoming, from day one they really made us feel like home. She is so friendly, such an excellent host and attentive to all details that make a great BnB. We had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for having us at your home. We had a wonderful holiday and we’ll definitely look to stay here again in the future.
We really enjoyed using the pool facilities. The room was well appointed and very quiet. The bed was comfy, and we appreciated the extra toiletries provided. The hotel is within easy reach of the city centre and has a good on-site restaurant with buffet options. The service provided was consistent with my partners previous stay at the hotel on business. We would highly recommend The Devon Hotel for anyone staying in New Plymouth.
We ended up at the Novotel New Plymouth for 3 nights during the cyclone Gabrielle, as most of the North Island was badly affected and we were looking for somewhere out of the storm. The staff were excellent and extended our stay after it became clear that one day had to be sacrificed because of the weather. We liked the restaurant and bar and were impressed with how comfortable, spacious and modern the rooms were.
Located in a great spot in New Plymouth. The home is spacious and was warm, very nicely presented and clean. The owner was very responsive and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. This is a perfect unit for 2 couples or a family at a fair price.
Beautiful property with views over New Plymouth. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Use of spa pool is great! Loved Rae’s home made bread and breakfast being provided made life easy. Especially loved Cookie, the dog!
Lovely quiet setting outside of New Plymouth, with easy access to the main road into town. Large room with kitchen facilities and huge bathroom. Well worth the cost. Restaurant on-site was an added bonus.
The home was very peaceful with great views and the owners were very friendly and helpful. You were able to be in a remote setting while be in the cool downtown of New Plymouth in a few minutes.
Spacious apartment & great location to eateries.
Staff very friendly. We decided to extend stay in New Plymouth and opted for a motel apartment instead instead of a standard room in a hotel.
We stay at the Auto Lodge whenever we stay in New Plymouth. The hotel is comfortable, clean and in a great location with a pool. The beach is also a 5 min walk away behind the hotel.
Clean large pretty standard hotel room. Had a nice terrace and good sound insulation. Right in the centre of New Plymouth. Short walk from supermarket. Half an hour walk to Womad.
The view from the room was beautiful we had an ensuite room. Spa pools had a beautiful view too and cheap to cook out, Staff were kind and helpful. Facilities were very clean.
I have stayed here many times and it is my preferred hotel of choice in Ngamotu | New Plymouth. Can always rely on great service, great food and a comfortable room.
