The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from.
The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from. Depending on what you're looking for.. i.e., Kings Beach is a happening area. Golden Beach is a little quieter. Places to visit are The Real Grocer, Cali Breeze for awesome burgers and fish and chips, and Amici's pizza (make reservations early when you know you want to go). The Amici Special pizza is the bomb! The RSL Club is nice to visit... loved the tribute to the military.

Caloundra has always been a favourite holiday destination...
Caloundra has always been a favourite holiday destination for me. Not far to anything! Depending on where you stay, you can park on arrival and never need to drive until end of stay! Beaches are the best.
The location was absolutely perfect, we could see the surf from the living room. Breath taking views of Kings beach, which was perfect as we were in a 3 day lockdown, we were happy to spend hours watching the surfers and people exercising. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Rose the property Manager was wonderful to deal with - excellent hospitality! The pool was lovely and warm, we loved the lock up garage, we could leave the scooter and boards in it rather than cluttering the apartment. Highly recommend Capeview.
After battling the Bruce Highway it was a breath of fresh air to not only find the place, but we found the lockbox, car park and were in the apartment in no time. The views were just like the pictures, and the apartment was clean and very spacious. Heaps of dining options within walking distance - we used the Caloundra Hotel on night 1 and had a great meal. We met the hosts the next morning and they were friendly and helpful.
The location was close to everything we needed eg Caloundra Event Centre, RSL, shopping centre, cafes, pub, beach.
The bed was super comfy. The room was spacious with a balcony that looked out to the ocean.
The room had a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave.
The facilities were great eg spa, gym, rooftop BBQ area.
Beautiful views from the rooftop.
The water park is a big hit to my 8yo kid. He almost doesn't want to get out because of it! There's heaps of things to do - playground, tennis, puffy pillow thing etc! Plus the location is close to the beach, shops, shopping centre.. Judi and the whole staff are warm and friendly too so we'll definitely be back again!
While the apartment is far from new the location was amazing. It was right across the road from the lifesavers flagged swimming area at Kings Beach. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the swimmers and the cargo ships travelling to and from Brisbane so close to shore. The apartment was very well equipped.
Location is unbelievable. Right on the beach and close to the flags. The pool was another favourite for us - super clean and lots of space. Beds were very comfortable. Apartments well set up for a beach holiday with good aircon. Family also liked our apartment having private rooftop access with a bbq.
Perfect location with 180deg uninterrupted views. This perfect location allows you to do some great walks either to Kings Beach or around to Bulcock Beach. This was the 4th time I have stayed at The Waterford....its my go to place in Caloundra now!
Fantastic location, close walk to Bulcock Beach and Kings Beach. Only a few minutes walk to the local Sunday Caloundra markets and op shops. Apartment was clean and homey. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Amazing location, the ground floor garden opens straight onto the beach and the property is only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Caloundra. Rooms were very comfortable and everything was very clean.
location was fantastic! beach across the road, in the heart of Bulcock beach, lots of restaurants and cafes right outside the hotel. short walk to Caloundra district and markets. would stay agsin
I liked the position, not in the hustle and bustle of main Street Caloundra. My room had a great view, which was important for my stay. Having a Thai restaurant in the premises is a big bonus.
The Family Room is seperate with an own bathroom - it‘s cozy and there is everything you‘ll need. The location is near to the centre of caloundra. Only a walk of 15 minutes away.
We have stayed in several rooms in this resort and all have had an excellent view of Kings Beach. The beach is just across the road so easy access for swimming, beach walks etc.
Location for our hotel was convenient and centrally located to access other areas of Caloundra. The rooms were spacious for 1-2 people and met every need for an overnight stay.
