We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant.
Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it!
The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds.
If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise.
Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

There is road construction EVERYWHERE.
There is road construction EVERYWHERE. We had no problem with their shared taxi, which means you will have several people squeezed in with you, going more or less in the same direction, but with the construction, many times your cab will not be able to reach your destination. This is Mexico 40 years ago.

Charming tourist town with friendly people and great choice of restaurants. There was a lot of construction and construction noise on the Main Street during our visit which prevented us from exploring the whole town.

If I was 25 and wanted to drink all day, it might be the place for a vacation. Lots of bars and clubs. I food is ok if you can get pass the barkers in the street. If you get out of city central, you can find some lovely beaches, but they are packed with people. We stayed in town for 5 days and two days on an out Island. Be prepared for many of the three- and four-star hotels have no AC. I have traveled all over the world; this would be on the bottom of my list. They haven't taken care of the environment or the waters that bring people to this location.

Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town,...
Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town, as it can get muddy and there's currently construction in town for a new sewer system. While the locals can be a bit assertive and follow you around offering you tour options (and drugs), they'll back off if you say no thanks. Do not drink the tap water and ask for filtered water stations (I also stuck with beer & wine versus mixed drinks with ice). A group from my hostel rented E-bikes which was the right choice to visit Bluff Beach, which made for a great afternoon.

Right now the streets are under construction….
Right now the streets are under construction…. And I mean ALL the streets. It’s tough on the tourism industry for that reason. There may not have been as many people visiting as there normally would be at that time of year. However, don’t let that stop you from going. It’s a fantastic place to visit. So much to se and do. Excellent restaurants.

Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public...
Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public infrastructure is awful, with mud, and potholes everywhere, very difficult to walk and get anywhere. Prices of the hotels and restaurants are slightly exaggerated in my view.
First of all Angie and her husband was super nice and helpful. The place is really on the water, and there’s a balcony you can see starfish and just sit and relax outside in front of the water. The breakfast was great and it was very nice that we could choose from the menu what we want to eat each day and they also served coffee and coconut water. Another thing that was really great was that they provide bikes for free and you can take it to explore the island.
If you’re looking for your own patch of paradise, then this is the place to go. It’s an isolated resort with beautiful beaches and few people.
We stayed in an over water bungalow and loved it. We were planning to do excursions, but found we just enjoyed hanging out on our private deck.
We also visited the nearby beaches, which were virtually abandoned and very private.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved chatting with them.
It’s a chillout place with a wonderful view from a huge terrace overlooking the sea. The best view for a morning coffee we have during our Central American trip. The owners are very nice and helpful, we could check in a few hours before the scheduled time. The island is beautiful and we were so happy we decided to stay there rather than in Bocas town, especially that there are roadworks there all over the place.
Short walk to beautiful Red Frog beach. Lots of red frogs and other animals.
Various nature activities including walk to Caiman lake and beach cleanup. Daily beach volleyball.
Beautiful 🥰 🥰 Polo Beach only 40 min walk. Great snorkeling spot. Free beach snorkeling!
Good food in the restaurant and good grocery store close by.
Selina water taxi to Bocas Town.
The hotel was amazingly located. It just takes 2 mins from Bocas Town to get there.
The facilities were perfectly clean.
But undoubtedly the best part of the hotel is the staff; Edgar, Samir, Angel and all the other are amazing! Definitely i’m going to miss them all!
Ideal for nature lovers and adventurers. The owners are biologist, we went for a night walk, birds watching, kayaking and snorkeling. All inclusive, food excellent, served like in the best restaurant with bugatti cutlery. Very simple eco design. Very nice staff.
The Ocean View King Suite room was amazing and worth every penny! Really felt like we were staying in paradise. The location is great, positioned on the waters edge, and is close to shops, cool sea terraced bars, and a 6 minute walk from the airport!
Simple but nice apartment in the heart of Bocas Town. The style suits very well with the soul of the Bocas. Johnny, the owner, is a really funny, helpful and friendly guy. Excellent location - just 180 m from the port and 500 m from the airport.
The location is wonderful but the biggest problem at this hotel. The great thing is that you are right on the water and we had partial ocean views. Grocery store, restaurants right across the street & steps away from boats to travel around.
The amenities were very clean. The bed in the shared dorm was comfortable and had its own fan, plugs, lights and curtain for privacy. Staff was super nice and willing to help. And of course the location was amazing, on the water!
This is a small oasis in Bocas Town, just chill out on the deck or jump into the ocean - perfect place to relax. Marko and Pierre will take care of you, help with your trips, help with onward travel or just share a coffee.
good position, you can easily access to Bocas town (Isla Colon); there is a small beach in front; the stuff cleans everyday apartmant and the area in front and aroud hotel; easy comunication; good value for the money
A retreat from the noise of Bocas town where you are enchanted by the sights and sounds of the jungle.
The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. I would return with friends and family.
This place has been one of the highlights just because of the hospitality of Ana! The place is lovely on the water real close centrally to enjoy everything. Rivas is perfect for couples
The hotel is very well located is on the water very near water taxi. Very clean and comfortable!
Sharol was very kind and in general everyone was friendly very willing to help.
The space is large and well located for Bocas town. Our favourite part about this place was Mauricio the man who worked there. He was very attentive, helpful and friendly.
