Fabulous facilities for limited mobility users. Wish we'd known about this place when my daughter was in a wheelchair as it's designed specifically for this. Also has beautiful views, is quiet and dark at night. Beds were very comfortable although one frame was a little squeaky. The place is spacious, has some beautiful furniture, and everything is comfortable and well appointed. Host was lovely also and more than happy to help with a small problem we discovered shortly after arrival.

Maclean is a quiet little town where most of the shops close at lunchtime on Saturday and don’t open on Sunday. The Fishermans Co-op is fantastic. Very nice breakfast during the week at On The Bite. Good coffee at Botero. Townsend is also worth a look - there is a terrific brewery there called Sanctus.

I was attending a school rowing camp at the Lower Clarence Rowing Club. Maclean has both an IGA and a SPAR for all your food supplies, as well as some lovely clothing stores, chemists, pubs and coffee shops. There is a nice hilly walk up to the lookout, and the town is tidy and pretty. It is an easy drive to Yamba too.

From the warm and friendly welcome by proprietor Ann to the superb generously proportioned and well set up room, great breakfast, thoughtful touches in the room and fantastic location...you could be excused for thinking you were in a five star hotel in a major city, not the lovely riverside town of Maclean. If you are looking for a great destination offering fantastic value, superb cleanliness, ideal location and outstanding service, don’t go past the Waterview Motel in Maclean!

We just needed a place to sleep on our way to Brisbane but this motel exceeded all our expectations. Close to the highway, it's located on the premises of bowling club where you can get decently priced meal and couple cheap drinks. Very clean and new. king size beds and very thought out details (varieties of coffee and teas, shower cap, make up removers etc). the price is great too. we are definitely coming back! this place has all you might need for a short stay at motel.

The owners were awesome. They returned my messages when needed. We had a lovely welcome gift of wine and chocolates. We are left fresh eggs from her feathered girls. The tiny home was immaculately clean. It was located in a quiet location by a river. We ventured out into Maclean which has an amazing pub with great food. Great touristy location with historical buildings. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommended it !

This is a spectacular home (looks exactly like the pictures). Gaynor and Chris were wonderful hosts who have taken great care to make our stay so comfortable, including a fully stocked fridge with breakfast goodies, coffee machine and toaster, newly renovated bathroom and glorious bed. Pure luxury. It is a 3 minute walk to the quaint stores of Maclean and right on the river for beautiful strolls, especially early in the morning. We loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is nicely renovated, very clean and in a fantastic location. We had some travel issues resulting in us arriving late into Maclean and David went out of his way to help. The info provided to us prior to stay and call to check we received it was very appreciated. Would highly recommend.
