The location is great directly opposite Westfield in Hurstville. The hotel looks to be recently renovated and it is modern, bright and clean. The room was so spacious, we had a king bed that was like a cloud. The bathroom was enormous and spotlessly clean.

This is a classic old Sydney building with a few original features, including some quite small but extremely cheap rooms. You do not expect anything above basic for this price, and you have to be okay with some quirks, but it's clean, the beds are comfortable, there's enough tea, coffee & biscuits to keep you going and you can always duck down to the bar for a drink. These guys came through when I was in a huge scrape, had lost my purse and missed my train and was in a massive panic stuck in Sydney with nowhere to go. The manager even carried my suitcase up to my room for me. Thanks heaps!
