Booked as alternative to accommodation at coast (all fully booked) but we enjoyed exploring Bad Segeberg (great views from top of Kalkberg) and visiting the very interesting little Buergerhaus museum (house built in 1541) at Luebecker Strasse 15 (but we didn't have enough time there!) Good communication with hosts and easy access to reliable WiFi

The rooms were large, clean and just beautiful. There was a beautiful shower. Great elevator. The hotel is right next to the Karl May Festival grounds. We travelled with a dog and that was no problem. Unfortunately, we did not find a free parking spot directly at the hotel, however, there was a decently sized parking lot next to the lake. Overall, it offers good value for money.
