Bed and pillow were comfortable, room was modern and clean and breakfast was very good with freshly cooked hot foods on request. Free parking on site made it very easy. Brilliant place by the German/ Swiss/French border- its a busy place with great access to the major highways and a hub of public transport. It has a large Turkish community which is thriving with lots of Turkish restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and really nice shisha bars. Shopping is great and youre amongst nature with the greenery around you. You have the new Galleria mall as well as the other great shopping places.

Very busy shopping center.
Very busy shopping center. Various eating places spread around. Industrial zone., Two good Kebab places plus a boring McDo where finding P is easy. Normal Lidl. Quite a nobody place to compare with major German citities and towns. Why I do not know. Too close to Switzerland?

A place close to Rhein and Basel.
A place close to Rhein and Basel. Popular shopping place for people living in Switzerland. Industrial zone. One or two decent hotels. Next to Autobahn. Does not appear to be touristic, but I only stayed in industrial zone. Most of Germany in this region is beautiful with a lot of agriculture.

Despite its train station being under construction and having a somewhat unappealing business district, Weil am Rhein offers conveninet access to the Vitra Campus and a small Altstadt area. My wife and I enjoyed an informal, outdoor pizza dinner hosted by Ali, the friendly and welcoming manager for Yusuf's restaurant on Hauptstrasse.

..such a waste that we stay for just 1night.i could have stay more days if i had a chance but we are just passing by to see basel real quick...i can recommend this place for its close to transportation going to basel..
The Pension may not be located centrally in Weil am Rhein, but it is not a problem - great access to city center and to Basel by bus or by train. Close to the famous Vitra Campus, which was our main reason for visits.
Our room was huge, the beds very comfortable and the balcony was an added bonus.
There are no breakfasts, but there is a supermarket just a few steps away, with a small cafe serving good coffee and basic breakfast fare.
Brilliant location, fantastic staff, ideal for getting to Weil am Rhein , France and of course, Basel. I asked if there was a kettle in my room but I was then given one my the staff at reception along with an iron and a cup. Really helpful and caring staff. You have a code which opens your room and lets you in the main building when the main door is closed. Theres a coffee and vending machine in reception.
Hotel Adler gives an ambiance of authenticity that adds to its charm. The breakfast provided was a delightful experience, offering a wide array of delicious options. The room is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The self check-in process is straightforward and enjoyable, adding a sense of fun to the overall experience.
The hotel is placed within Rhein Center so provides great access to everything you need. The location was awesome as the hotel is placed right at the borders of Germany, France and Switzerland. Good restaurants around and very nice views. Room was very clean and comfortable, and staff members were very polite and helpful.
The staff are flexible. I did not realize there was no AC and with the hot weather it was a struggle for the first 2 nights. The staff accomodated us into the AC room the 3rd day/night (they did not have the AC rooms available the first 2 nights). The AC rooms are much more spacious. The hotel is very clean.
Well-located hotel just inside the German part of Basel and situated right above a shopping centre with a food court, with prices typical of Germany rather than the extortionate expenditures one would have to fork out in Switzerland. The centre of Basel is only a short trip away by tram.
The room was spacious and well equipped. Close to Basel and supermarkets. We particularly loved the breakfast. Huge variety of warm and cold food. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Most importantly, this is one of the very few hotels that offers free apples for its guest. ❤️
Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Plenty of options for breakfast. paid €5 for a private parking spot but it was worth it as it was very near to the entrance/exit of the hotel. tram stops to Basel and other places are just outside of the mall/hotel.
The hotel and room are really ok for this type of property. The room was small but clean. We did not have time to try breakfast, unfortunately. The lady at the reception was really friendly.
We loved the breakfast, the staff & Maria ( owner). We would definitely recommend to friends or book ourselves again. The only downside was the cost of the taxi from the airport.
Friendly stuff, convenient location close to the Autobahn, very good breakfast and lunch, car parking in front of the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.
