First time visitor but I will be back. Much nicer than Sliema side. So many things to look at and visit within Valletta itself but also easy to access other parts of the islands from here. Very nice city but overwhelming overcrowded and noisy. Generally the food is similar, not always good quality compared to many other places I’ve eaten elsewhere in the world. Seems to be geared for tourists and turnover rather than good cuisine. Views are spectacular, especially near the water.

Changed since our last visit - so much busier with traffic and volume of visitors. ate mainly at the Hotel food excellent. Did dine out in Valletta and the quality of the food was superb but too much by volume. Mainly walked around Valletta as it was so easy. Valletta was full of history, culture and great food!
Valletta was full of history, culture and great food! It was easy to walk the entire city and visit sights. There were amazing places to eat and drink throughout the city, with endless array of cuisines to choose from. By staying in Valletta it was easy to hop on a bus to any other part of the country! There are also ferry rides across the bays for a couple of euro's.

Lots of interesting places to visit including Grand Master's Palace and St John's Cathedral which was amazing. Enjoyed walking the narrow streets admiring the architecture. And it was always right on time! The location is great - right in the heart of Valletta so everything is easily accessible.
