Amazing location with a vibrant street food area, department stores with everything and adjacent to the Da Ming palace park. This hotel essentially has its own metro station with the train going directly into the city centre right next to the entrance. It’s also very close to the city centre being only two stops. Plus the fact that the whole city and the the main sights are accessible by the metro make having the metro right next door very convenient. Check in and out was very easy. The breakfast was excellent and the lounges very comfortable. The service was great all around.

Most exciting place. One week is not enough. Will come again. Xi‘an is more than Terracotta warriors. There are many shows worth to see.
However, the visit to Shanxi Historical Museum is overly complicated as the website is in Chinese and not well organized. Even my Chinese guide did not manage to get me a ticket.

We arrived in Xian after first visiting Beijing.
We arrived in Xian after first visiting Beijing. Personally I like Xian better than Beijing, not only the history but also life around is mor vibrant. In Beijing to much control, to much officials etc. We chose to visit the Terra Cotta army as well as Famen Temple and both visits are a day tour. Unfortunately Pit 4 exhibition is moved from the TC army to another museum. Personally I was always impressed by Pit 4, showing the Bronx chariots etc.
There is much more in Xian, one evening we enjoyed a Tang Dynastie show, had a walk in Muslim Street and visited The Great Mosque.

Terracotta army is of course the top thing to visit in Xi'An. Do not miss the bronze carriages. They are incredible and the museum created just for them is exceptional.
Xi'An is one of the best places we visited in China. The whole town is fantastic. A walk on city walls is unforgettable. Xi'An museum has great exhibits, especially in the underground area. There are a lot of great museums in Xi'An and it is worth spending a few days in this beautiful town.

Thousands of years of history in this vibrant town, with amazing food diversity, mind-blowing tour sites, and a fun attitude. There are lots of shopping opportunities as well with plenty of malls to choose from that feature Chinese and international brands. Don't forget to set your phone up with Alipay or WeChat linked to a credit card so you can easily make purchases or order rides with Didi. Not absolutely necessary but makes things MUCH EASIER (this is generally true for anywhere in China)..

Xi'an has a long history and is of great cultural importance...
Xi'an has a long history and is of great cultural importance in China. There are therefore many historic sites to visit (e.g. the Terracotta Warriors, Giant Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, City Walls). It also has a large Muslim quarter, which is interesting to wander around. The food is good, and the Muslim quarter has some particularly interesting and tasty dishes. The city is easy to get around. Like most Chinese cities, it has a good metro system that is easy to navigate (everything is in Chinese and English), but the city centre inside the old city walls can be easily explored on foot. The city walls are intact, and you can walk all the way around - another way to see the city! The walls are also surrounded by a moat and very pretty gardens. As well as the historic sites, Xi'an is a thriving modern city, so there are good shopping malls and plenty of nightlife, if that's what you want.

Fascinating ancient city and capital of past Chinese...
Fascinating ancient city and capital of past Chinese dynasties. A eye opening and crash course of the ancient Chinese civilization. A cauldron of different faiths, cultures languages, etc. In addition to the tombs, city gates, city walls, temples, mountains and mosque, etc .. must try out the Han costume and the local food. The experience is definitely memorable and adds a element of fun.
This was my second stay in the hotel within a week, this time I thoroughly enjoyed the services provided by the hotel, including a decent no extra-fee taxi service to the airport. As always, the breakfast was excellent and the cleanliness was unparalleled, the breakfast offers good Vegetarian options. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are heavenly. This time, I stayed on the 4th floor and the noise of the club next door was negligible (unlike last time when I was given a room on the sixth floor).
Wow I can't find any fault about this hostel. Its more like a hotel. The staff, location, facilities were 10/10. He decor and interior were beautiful throughout. They had a stunning chillout area on the rooftop and downstairs courtyard .
They offer free drinks and snacks throughout the day. They offered us a glass of wine at the end of the day for free. Amazing value for money I would have paid more. I will definitely be staying here again.
Luxury hotel, equal or superior to some of the finest and most exclusive hotels I've used in France, Germany, Italy, USA and Turkey. Remodeled huge rooms/suites with classic European styling. Much much better than any Sofitel I've ever stayed in. Staff were attentive, polite, and always going out of their way to help. Incredible value. Relatively close to major attractions in the city.
One of the best stay in China. The location was excellent (right next to the South Gate, and a walk away from the Muslim quarter) and the room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were helpful and very attentive to their customers’ needs. The Manager spoke perfect English and made sure I had everything I needed. Hands down, one of the best places I’ve stayed so far. Highly suggested.
Amazing location - insanely good value for money when you consider how central this hotel is. The hotel itself is also lovely, large rooms with good facilities. The staff are very helpful. It’s a little tricky to find as is on the 9th floor of a block (but don’t let this put you off - it means it’s really peaceful despite being right in the centre of town!).
The coordinates are very close to the Bell and Drum Tower, Huimin Street, subway Line 2 and Line 6. There are many special foods around, places for taking photos of Hanfu, and singer performances in the evening.Best hostel I've ever stayed, the amenities and service in overall I feel it's much better than hotel and most importantly, cost effective!
Staff is warmly helpful and speak a very good English, which is more comfortable than using a translator to communicate!
The rooms are fantastic at a really reasonable price.
Cleaner you won't find!
The neighborhood is perfect for traveller's, in the very center, with everything around (food, services...)
My favorite place to sleep in China
Loved the staff, very helpful. Specially Jason Zhao helped me to clear up the issue of Credit Card double charge.
Clean facilities and very comfortable bed, I am very picky with bed types.
Close to all the Major attractions
Exended my stay by 2 days in Hilton as it was way better than Sofitel.
One of our best stays in China. Very comfortable, nice room. Clean bathroom and room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Good location, was able to walk to the city wall and also to the good food in the Muslim quarter. Really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again.
The laundry facilities and Chinese breakfast are good. Hotel is walking distance to subway and to major sites, Staff and Services were good with abundance of bottle water available. , Good fundamental travel hotel,
Wonderful, comfortable hotel, good location, very nice breakfast, overlooks a children’s school playground - so much fun watching the kids doing their morning exercises!! Very helpful staff. Great value!!
The place is so well located inside the wall, near the metro station (china-near) and the staff was super helpful and helped us to book a trip to the Xian warriors and everything we needed.
The staff is amazing and friendly. The location is perfect right by city wall. You can get a room facing the wall with an amazing view. There is a lot to do right around the hotel.
Best hotel i stayed at in china. Super spacious room and great facilities, indeed it felt like home. Even allowed me to extend my check out later as my flight was at night
