A tradition of hospitality Enjoy the full hotel experience… A total experience. That is what we create in Hotel Cosmopolite. A nice room is the basis, but we go much further.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was rich and abundant with great choice of healthy products like fruits, yoghurts,.... The room we had was large and clean with separate bathroom and toilet which adds to comfort. The bar of the hotel is great in choices and comfortable environment. Location for beach walks is good.

The breakfast, best I have ever experienced! Room was spotless and comfortable. Great in-room coffee selection. Highly recommended.
Hotel Sandeshoved is located in the heart of Nieuwpoort Bad, at the beach promenade. Guests can relax in the restaurant, which serves fresh dishes and offers an intimate sea-view terrace.

The location of the ideal - right on the beach and just a couple of minutes from the coastal tram. The room was very well set out and comfortable. I booked a back facing room but they upgraded me to a side room which was nice - from my balcony I had an very nice view of the sea. The breakfast was very good. I would very happily recommend this hotel.
Ideally situated near the beach and Europe’s largest marina, this modern Holiday and Seminar Centre offers a wealth of activities – fun for the entire family.

The old town is small but very attractive and there are a few interesting things to see there, many connected to the First World War. The beach is very nice. There is a nature reserve that you can get to by the free ferry which is worth going to, and there are lots of walks that you could do. Beyond that there isn't a lot to keep you in Nieuwpoort, so it is a great benefit that you can take the coastal tram from Nieuwpoort so you can explore other places.

It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
One of my favourite places at the Belgian coast because of the dike (no cars and a lot of space), the mouth of river Ijzer, the history of the world wars (mainly world war I) and the multiple walking possibilities.
I've been there many times and planning to go back for many times.

If you don’t go to Nieuwpoort Bad but to the Nieuwpoort town area or to Koksijde, you may be better off. Nieuwpoort Bad is a wannabe-look rich shopping strip with plenty of places to leave your money. There are better beaches along the ‚Kust‘, with more normal crowd.

Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina.
Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina. Nieuwpoort has lots of great shops if that’s what you like doing. Don’t forget to visit the old town with the Nieuwpoort Stad Market square and appreciate the Flemish architecture.

Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars.
Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars. Quite upmarket shops were a surprise. Like most of this coast buildings on the front built in about 1960’s so not very attractive, but lovely place to relax for a few days.
The near to the beach. I could leave my sea kayak on the terrace, which lies to the back yard. A tram station is near the house and you can use the tram for a trip not only to the center to Nieuwpoort but also to Natuurreservaat Westhoek.
The stove has an induction hot plate. There is a coffeemachine of newest standard. Though I am not interested in that but I want to mention that they give you opportunity to play on playstation. Hot water for shower was no problem. It was despite of the traffic on Franzlaan quite silent in the appartment.
The apartment was clean, and I mean squeaky clean. The facilities in the kitchen are also more than sufficient (more than enough dishes and cookware, microwave oven, coffee maker, a dishwasher and of course a stove and a refrigerator/freezer). The apartment itself is also well equipped (good WiFi, definitely better than most hotels and TV with cable). The check-in and check-out were also straight-forward using the lockbox. The hosts were very friendly, even though we didn't really need to meet them in person.
This hotel was a real gem - very nice quiet spot in Sint Joris, just outside Nieuwpoort, with a warm welcome from our charming host Gabor. The room and facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean, a nice garden area in which to sit out when the weather dictates it and our breakfast was delicious, cooked by Gabor himself. At the time we stayed there, we were in fact the only guests, but that in no way reflects on the standard or quality of the hotel. It was a Monday evening at a quiet time of the year.
We came to Belgium to attend a concert nearby - the location was perfect - 20min by car to the venue & just a few meters to the beach…
Lots of parking spaces available nearby as well - we chose the gated Promenade Parking garage for about 18€/day 👍🏻
Definetely need to highlight the breakfast buffet & the staff - especially Sabine from reception was so kind and helpful / we really appreciated the warm welcome & the wonderful service!
Host Julie came personally on arrival to hand over the keys and show us around.
Beautifully designed apartment with plenty of light and little balcony outdoor. With a car the location is really good as it is easily reachable from the highway and a short drive to town and beach, with easy parking nearby (sometimes a problem nearer to Nieuwpoort Bad). Kitchen correctly equipped with wat you need
Hotel is actually split over a number of buildings - small cramped corridors and unclear directions. Room looked like a backpackers hostel, bathroom fittings were lose and broken, grubby looking mismatched furniture.
Breakfast was awful - not even a toaster ! Dry, hard cheese, terrible coffee, no clean tables
It was the second year we staid there when visiting family in Nieuwpoort. The location is fantastic. Staff extremely friendly. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely stay there next year again.
Secure parking. Excellent bathroom and quiet hotel, ie we did not hear the other guests and only saw them at breakfast. Lovely breakfast room and the roof terrace.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms. A very extensive breakfast.
