Located in an eco area close to cycle paths and plenty of nature. Room was very clean and comfortable, private access and shared well equipped kitchen. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh croissants and rolls, delicious homemade preserves, yoghurt, fruit juice or smoothie, different cheese & meat selection daily, boiled/baked or egg wrap and fresh fruit.

Our stay in Almere was made all the more easier because there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, just a few doors down from B&B Haddock where we stayed there was great all you can eat tapas menu available in ‘El Mundo’s’ we loved it so much we ate there on the two nights we stayed in Almere, it was excellent.

They said they had sent a mail informing us of the deposit of 100 Euros . We had neither received that nor the information that Anno runs a Disco till 4 in the morning. As two older, very well-educated people, we were very upset about the disturbance.
The area around the hotel is prohibited to dogs, we were travelling with two dogs, requested their stay at the hotel but had no information as to the unwelcome state of the dogs in that part of the town.(surrounding the hotel)
The staff were extremely unfriendly and quite rude. When asked to call a taxi for our departure, they demurred strongly but did eventually comply with our request.
The breakfast was more or less non- existent, consisting of dry bread, tubs of yoghurt, and tea which had to be ordered at the bar, a request that was very slowly complied with, in very bad grace.
We were quite devastated by the way we were treated and would definitely deter anyone we know from using this hotel.

I love the Netherlands in general and didn't think that I would ever have a preference for a specific city. I also picked Almere on the map, just because it was close to Amsterdam and the accommodation was cheaper. However, I quickly fell in love with this city. It's actually quite big and seems divided into several smaller settlements - at least that was my understanding, haha.
Even so, the town was a lot calmer than the busy Amsterdam, but at the same time had everything you could need - from a cinema to a nice place to have a bite.
What really set it apart though for me was the bike rental experience - it was the most straightforward one I've had in Holland as of yet!
I just popped into the tourist center and within 15 minutes was out and about with a very nice ebike!
Was also given a QR code for free parking in the city, because my hotel didn't have a bike rental space!
Not to mention that the security deposit was twice cheaper than in other cities and it wasn't needed for me to leave my ID card hostage while I was renting out the bike, which has always been a huge inconvenience in the past for me.
Getting around town with a bike is a piece of cake, not to mention that Amsterdam is also within reach!
Maybe the only thing that I disliked was the restaurants, I feel like they weren't very good, but at the same time were overpriced.
Other than that, I think Almere has now become my go-to destination when I want to settle down somewhere near the capital. :)

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days and visited Floriade 2022 expo. A nearby ferry took us to the place we needed. We appreciated the beach and restaurants around. Almere is very close to Amsterdam and Volendam which was also very nice.

We stayed in Almere due to the proximity to the Floriade exhibit, with a ferry to the venue nearby. This is a suburb of Amsterdam, when the COVID /quarantine restructions were lifted in April 2022. We had trouble finding a lab in Almere to conduct the required COVID testing for the flight back to the US.

It’s a very quiet place, like after 9pm there’s not a soul on the streets. BnB Almere is quite far from Almere Centrum, 1h walk or 15 minutes walk plus a bus. It’s also 30-40 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal which made it about 1.30h or 2h to get home. There isn’t any shops or stores in the area unless you are in Almere Centrum. We had to shop in Amsterdam Centraal every night before going back to the BnB. A 3 day pass to get you from Almere to Amsterdam costs nearly 40 euro and it doesn’t last 72h, is just for the actual 3 days. I thought the area would be more active, even though it was relaxing, just needed more social life. There’s no places for food unless you are in Almere Centrum, we just waited to get to Amsterdam every day for a better choice of food (Almere Centrum has very few places). There’s only one coffeshop in the whole of Almere which is 10 minutes away from the Centrum. You’ll have to find which companies offer boat, sailing and etc services because the property doesn’t. To get to Almere BnB from Schipol you have to take a train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal, another train from Amsterdam Centraal to Almere Centrum. Once you are in Almere Centrum the bus M6, you get off on the last stop Noordplassen Noord and there’s a 10-15 minutes walk (alternatively you can take a taxi which would cost over 80 euro), not the easiest commute with suitcases
Everything.
Choosing Almere to visit Amsterdam was a great success. Very quiet city with large spaces and modern buildings, lots of shops, bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel.
The hotel is very modern, very spacious, well-lit rooms and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was excellent, with instant hot water. Very friendly staff, they surprised me with an upgraded room.
About a 15-minute walk away is the Almere Centrum train station, and after 20 minutes you are in Amsterdam Central.
We had nice spacious studio room with separate kitchen, which included fridge, kettle, coffee machine, sink, kitchen table with chairs. Booking has mentioned also microwave, but because of the restrictions it was taken away from room. Anyway, it is allways available downstairs at the breakfast room as well as the large coffee machine. The room was clean. The bed was convenient. All devices operated well. The hotel has its own spacious free of charge parking.
Everything about this cute little studio is fantastic. It's just far enough away from amsterdam that you don't see another tourist which is perfect if you're trying to immerse yourself in the culture. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and I'm sure in the summer is even better. My wife and I fell in love with the scenery and spent some time exploring the woods. I would love to stay here again!
A nice clean room with a shower and a toilet inside behind a wooden wall. The towels are also provided.
The walls are made of metal so it might seem like you are in a huge container at first but they are nicely decorated so you get a feeling of a regular hotel room.
.There's a kind of a backyard with a table where you can sit outside.
Environment is amazing and beautiful, the style of the house is fantasic, the jakuzzi is a great idea, the showers of bedrooms perfectly designed.
The garden is beautiful. From Almere Amsterdam, the lakes around and North Sea are easily available.
It felt like home! Typical Dutch breakfast, really quiet and by bus (3mn walk) in 5 stops to the city centre (Almere with direct connection to Schipol). Owners are really nice people. One of my best stays (not for leisure) so far on Booking.com
Hotel is close to Almere Butine metro/train station- exactly out side the train station.
Breakfast was excellent too.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Hotel has many restaurants and shops around it at walkable distance.
Nice hotel, clean, rather large rooms. Good restaurant, looks pretty, the food is good too. Good size pool, warm and clean. Nice staff. It's a good place to go with kids.
this is the best hotel in the Netherlands, clean, comfortable, wonderful friendly staff, close to Amsterdam, I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart.
The hotel is clean, very nice staff, close to everything we needed.
Big shower, toilet are separated from the shower, but it's ok. The beds are super comfortable.
