Our hosts were amazing. We were staying in the small chalet and it was fantastic. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of farm land and it was very quiet. The grounds were immaculately kept and we enjoyed seeing the different animals. We were given an excellent breakfast which had everything you could want and more... the pancakes and omelets were delicious and the fresh squeezed orange juice divine. The hotel is in a great location that allows you to easily visit the different highlights of northern Netherlands. The high rating that this hotel has is very well deserved. I would return again a heart beat!

Location was very convenient for us as bike tourists and there was a locked garage to store our bikes. Quirky style about the whole place. Lovely lounge area to chill in and tea/coffee plus drinks fridge all available on an honesty basis. Good breakfast which a friendly chap served.

Bed and Kitchen Den Oever was a wonderful surprise. The accommodation was spacious, clean, had plenty of room to park 4 bikes, and had washing machine / dryer we could use. Surprisingly there was also a computer my husband could use to complete some online business. The beds were very comfortable.
