Breakfast was really good. The facility was clean. Garden is really amazing and very comfortable. Wifi connection was good - I had to work remotely also and I didn’t have any problem.

Ahungalla is a little village, hence to see places around you need bus or tuk tuk services, they run on main road all the time. We loved Bentota - a resort 20 min on a bus - it had calm beach and cafes to eat/drink around. Just outside Bentota there is village where you can get good shopping for clothes, gifts etc. Galle is 50min drive on a bus from Ahungalla. It's a lovely historic place to visit. We liked Ahungalla as it's less busy/noisy than other towns, and the villa we stayed was 5min walk to the beach. There is a good supermarket for basic items.

Never seen so many big oysters and snails walking on the beach. The beach is not exactly "happening" but it is so full of life. Turtel hatchery, Madu Ganga River safari, Mask museum are all close by. Saw a couple of monitors walking on the road. Some excellent restaurants around serving good sea food.
The hotel is located close to the beach inside a small shrubby area. There are AC rooms as well as separate Wood Cabins. The one we stayed is enough for 6 (easily) with few extra beds. The staff is friendly. The host even upgraded us to a wood cabin by the sea. There was no trouble at all. The food was delicious. Evening and morning in the beach is amazing. There is a bar by the beach as well.
You can also visit Madhu Ganga, Koth Duwa Temple, Fish Therapy, Aluthgama Water Sports Spots from this place.

Sanaaaa!!!! What to say. Our stay was amazing. Had the most perfect time here. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was super tasty. Sana even took his time to show us beautiful hidden beaches nearby , which we wouldn't be able to find ourselves. If you're looking to stay in a quiet area, with amazing nature, and an even more amazing host this is a perfect place for you.
The ocean view and access to the beach was the best part of my stay. This small inn is located on a beach front. The place is very basic and have a two story building with two AC rooms on each floor with a balcony. Hot/Cold water shower works and the washrooms are alright. There's an adjoining single level pavilion were meals are served. The staff was very friendly.
It was at an exceptional location. The chef, Chaminda is a gem. We just loved the food, specially their local Sri Lankan delicacies. The rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities, the decor is minimalistic but tasteful and the staff is very cooperative. Absolutely recommend this place!
The Hotel Manager Hassim along with the rest of the staff was very helpful and cheerful. Very professional service that left us with a feeling of safety and relaxation. 10/10 from my friend and I. Rooms were clean and food was on spot. Pool was cosy. Thank you and see you again! 🇩🇰🇱🇰
Very nice location, excellent beach, delicious food, very friendly staff ready to help and support. Especially many thanks to Thilanka!
It's obviouse that hotal has been impacted by covid and national lockdown but I hope the best time for this nice hotel is in the nearest future!!
Beautiful pristine hotel kept impeccably clean. Staff is all exceptionally friendly. Beach is stunning and stretches for miles with very few people in site. Kids wave-jumped for hours on end. Food and drinks both top notch. Would 10/10 recommend and hope to visit again!!
Friendly staff, good location and fun entertainment at night. Amazing beach is right in front a few steps away but it doesn't belong to the hotel, so there are no life guards on duty, lots of stray dogs, and a persevering army of locals trying to make a living on site.
The view was amazing.. Beach was nearly all to ourselves.. Very quiet and secluded. Owner, Dinesh was very nice and cooked us an amazing fish- do not hesitate! Beds are new and the best I've slept on in Sri Lanka - kitchen was complete and functional.
Everything that is said in previous reviews, we experienced as well. Nice, large room with good beds and very friendly people run the guesthouse. It is not a 5 star hotel of course, but it was all very nice.
the experience was perfect and hotel staff, Ravindra,Noyel, Nilanga we're very friendly and helpful and food was great thanks to chef Sohan for this delightful experience
Nice place near ahungalla beach. Spacious rooms with kitchen and dining area as well. Delicious food served in good portions. Great customer service. Recommend.
