Staying with a lovely family and their guidance and help in a safe and friendly environment was one of the best memories of our trip. The feeling of living with family❤️

My stay was quite comfortable, I felt very much at home.
My stay was quite comfortable, I felt very much at home. The staff were really friendly and super accommodating, especially James. And the host was great at checking in to see if I was okay and if I needed anything. The home is also located near the beach is amazing and close to various amenities which is great. Even With the shared kitchen and dinning area, the home still offered the needed privacy during my stay. I'd come back if I get the chance to visit Sri Lanka again

I really liked the area, beautiful large beach.
I really liked the area, beautiful large beach. The hotel I stayed at were really professional and great value for money. There are quite a few places to eat around but during this time many places were closed due to the escalation of the Corona Virus. They do offer water sport activities around the area but it was just nice to have some peace.
The people around do love to try and sell you items even when you say no, so be adamant and don't entertain them.

It is a lovely and famous, coastal area in the capital.
It is a lovely and famous, coastal area in the capital. However, beach-front properties are often fully booked and are expensive. The area is quite safe for anyone. The beach is beautiful, but locals don't recommend dipping in the sea here as it is considered too polluted.
This apartment is owned and operated by Mr. Raj I have been a guest there for some years, the hospitality this gentleman offers is second to none, specially those so called full service and star class ones every time I stay there I was beyond satisfied and being treated like a royalty, this is a true with all, I highly recommend and guarantee personally if you need accommodation in Colombo too look for it
Thank you very much sir
it’s the best place to stay in mount lavinia :) every time we are in colombo we come back there. the place is nice, clean, comfortable, has a cool pool and very helpful and friendly staff. the location is perfect because you are close to the beach, all the shops, restaurants and main road but it’s not too noisy and busy around. totally recommend. the building itself is a very nice old house and has its unique atmosphere.
Stayed two nights with my wife. Comfortable place with a private bathroom.
Large kitchen, living room and balcony.
Quiet even though it's close ,100m to the main bus road. You can find many places to eat within walking distance also if you have a craving for western fast food ( McDonald's, KFC )
Close to downtown Colombo and to a nice beach. No A/C but a good ceiling fan and many windows.
Very friendly hosts!!

No breakfast. Location is a little bit far away from Colombo center, so from IVS Global which undertake indian visas for the
lazy indian diplomats...Very quiet at night and wonderful birds in the garden. You understand why Sri Lanka has birds
printed on every banknote.
A taxi (Tuk-tuk) driver who knows Colombo (rare !) and speak good english : Mr Suren 071 944 8568 and 077 277 7464.
The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to my wishes (e.g. late arrival and early departure). The room is nice and the staff personally brought the portable WiFi router to ensure optimal internet connection! In addition, the hotel is relatively close by Mountain Lavinia Train station (from where you can depart anywhere) as well as the beautiful bNo each.
Only 100m from Mt Levinia beach. Only 20 minutes by car to Colombo city center (e.g. Fort railway station). Modern, large and comfortable rooms with AC, toilette and shower. There is an area with table, fridge and water heater and a sofa which can be used jointly. Very friendly host, breakfast is amazing, if you like also with local stuff.
the food and location were superb. The hotel is going through a return and parts are tired and in need of repair. The foyer was leaking water from above the whole stay which took some of the charm away and felt a bit unsafe Therefore the price should have been reduced whilst the hotel re-finds its past reputation. I hope it does.
One of the fantastic places I stayed during my short time in Sri Lanka. Very friendly n supportive staff including owner. Facilities were top notch.
Nature friendly decoration n very much calm place to stay. Near to beach n all the main restaurants around the corner.
The bed was super comfortable n well maintained rooms.
In real its absolutely looking better than in pictures. Spacious and clean apartment. Extremely professional and friendly host and I enjoyed the breakfast.
I wish they had a balcony and that would be awesome if they can think of doing it.
Its close to Mount Lavinia beach and I took uber and it cost me around LKR 200.
It was one of the best location we stayed at. The staff and owner were absolutely amazing. Definitely would return again. the room are extremely spacious and cozy. Very clean.
Special mention to my Bosco the dog he was such a calm and cute dog loved seeing him every morning 🥰
Very friendly and helpful staff, Janitha was really nice contacting me in advance and enabling an earlier check-in. Room was large and comfortable and breakfast pleasant. Property is about 50 metres from Mount Lavinia beach.
The location. Also that the hotel has started do undergo a needed renovation. I have visited the hotel since late 1980. And will continue. The staff is excellent and always willing to help.
Dinesh was really kind and helpful. He was also knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information with me and helped me put a plan together for my time in Sri Lankan. Thanks Dinesh :)
Excellent staff, very kind and friendly manager, food was top level, and the cleanliness should get an extra reward... overall it was one of the best places in Sri Lanka to Stay.
Everything was perfect from the service and amenities to the food. I highly recommend the property and this will be my go-to place for this budget in Colombo from now onwards!
I stopped for a night on my way down south, so it made sense to stop in Mount Lavinia. The property is close to the beach and there are decent food places nearby.
Lovely hotel close to the airport. The owner and his wife are so friendly and helpful and their food is incredible !!! Ate there every night. Rooms are great
