We just left the most wonderful hotel ran by the sweetest loveliest people and I wish we could have stayed for a whole month at least. If you’re hesitating whether to book this stay or not, book it right now!
Where to begin: The location is magical, located by the sea with stunning views and an overall calmness that surrounds the area. The beach (with private hotel access) is gorgeous and with direct views to pigeon island. The sunrises and sunsets at CBeyond feel out of this world as they’re so beautiful. The pool is great and so inviting, perfect for an afternoon dip.
The hotel is stunning; the decoration in the shared areas such as the living room, dining room and porch is tasteful. Our room was so spacious, with loads of natural light and the most breathtaking views to the coast. The bathroom is well equipped and the shower has great water pressure (this is quite important to me). The bedroom has a gorgeous private balcony with a couple of lounge chairs where I’ve been sitting to watch the sunrise (very recommendable), bed is big and very comfortable.
The breakfast served in the mornings is the best breakfast I’ve ever had, no joke. The fruit platter is fresh and delicious, the pancakes and french toast very delectable but the cherry on top are curry’s. Lunch and dinner are also great and very tasty!
Saving the best for last: the personnel running the hotel. I have never experienced such wonderful treatment like this before; they all have been so kind, lovely and helpful. Went above & beyond every time we had any inquiry and were so nice about it - we had some problems with our tuktuk and they took care of it. We celebrated a birthday here and they made the day feel 10 times more special!! Eric & co have been so lovely, they made our stay here so memorable, it’s going to be impossible to top.

The resort is in a very quite location. The beach was very clean and lovely to swim in, as well as a pool if you do not like the sea. Getting to snorkelling spots was very easy and quick by boat. There were so many options for breakfast and the staff were very attentive.

We had an amazing stay here, comfortable big room with a balcony overlooking the sea, great restaurant with a couple more places within walking distance and wonderful friendly staff! We took a trip to pigeon island booked by the hotel which was fantastic, we saw many sharks and a turtle, the sunrise was right on the beach and the sea was perfect to swim in. Thank you for such a comfortable, memorable stay.

We had stay at Anukama resort on April 18 and 19, 2024 (three adults) and the staff are very nice and helpful,even the General manager, Jena Moorthy, a nice gentleman, I would like to bring some points to the management of Anukama Resort to improve the accommodations and services
1. Make sure the hot water supply, the commode flash, and the hot water itself are functioning before granting the visitor access to the room (we experienced a negative experience when we entered the room and the technicians arrived to fix the issue for over an hour while we were in the room).
The room and bathroom were extremely poorly cleaned.
3. The bed sheet and pillow that were provided are extremely small. When we asked for more bedsheets and pillows, they gave us only one of each and said they were out of stock.
4. Although the room has an electric kettle, the staff only provides two packets of office, milk, and sugar each time we ask them to get these items for three people.
4. Even though the accommodation charge includes the breakfast, the serving on the plate are insufficient for a single adult.

the staff was super available - I had a really late check in and check out. I really appreciate their kindness in everything.
it’s a really quiet place so perfect for relaxing and for family time. Owners were locals, which I think is really important to consider when booking an hotel (helping their community).

This is a hidden gem, easily screened out if you were looking for 4 star plus. This place is a paradise if you are looking for a relaxing vacation and get trained in Scuba and get certification. Diving school at the edge of this property has all the gear you can rent for the day or you can bring your own. Instructors are experienced in local reefs and diving hot spots. Best food here is Sri Lankan food and fresh off the boat seafood. If you don't like spicy food, choices may be limited. My daughters, one of whom was a Vegan had plenty of choices.

Nilaveli is a quiet place on the whole. If you're into snorkeling....dolphin watching and whale watching then this is the ideal place for you. We stayed at an amazing boutique property called cbeyond nelaveli. The property has one of the cleanest Beaches if not the cleanest beach in the area. Also you get picked up at that beach itself for all the activities so it's very convenient. Also a must go place for a drink or swim is Beach lovers. Nilaveli beach is great and you really need a vehicle to get around Nilaveli and to the Trinco town and Nilaveli beach, the hotel is perfect if you are there for relaxation and chill. I'm vegetarian hence beachside restaurant is not a perfect place to talk about food, however, the staff of Nilaveli Beach hotel did offer me some good local and international vegetarian dishes and the taste was good as well. You can do many activities there, but the time I was travelling was not ideal for any activities because of the COVID-19. It was more of a forceful stay to pass the day.

Fabulous resort with excellent friendly staff. Rooms are super clean and beds very comfortable. AC works great and there are fans as well. The food at the restaurant is a bit pricey but we managed to use the fridge in the room and have our driver take us to get snacks and breakfast foods so we ate only our dinner at the resort. The pool is wonderful, clean and there is plenty of shade. The beach also has shade. Beach towels and mats are provide for the pool and beach area so you don't need to take towels from the room. The staff are always asking if you need anything and always have a smile on their faces. This place is fantastic apart from the internet which is only in the area near the lobby and restaurant and is not always the best. I recommend everybody to go to a good hotel for your stay! Spend some more money but better stay in a good one. We stayed in Nilaveli Beach Front Condos. Nilaveli Beach is a super place. Enjoyed Lovely sunrise.unforgettable! Even we saw the sunset at kinniya on the same day. So it's fab! Pigeon island is a must place to go. You will see how much you love the almighty when going on that little boat. But on the way back its normal. Pregnant ladies...don't go in that boat. I suggest the Navy to have a kind of a big safety boat for travelling. Boat rate - 2000/- ( don't rent from anywhere else, not even from your hotel as it's run by a society) Tickets - we paid only 765/- for 6 Snorkeling rate - 600/- per set per person Don't get safety jackets as it's no use while Snorkeling. They charge 400/-. Don't hire a guide. They will just take you to a place telling you fairy tales. It's a safe place. Officials are there for any assistance. Only thing is you should keep some first aid as sometimes people will get cuts for corals. Enjoy coral and fish. But do not touch! No much places to eat in trinco though. So better have your food in the hotel itself. Our food was awesome at Beach front condos! Ohhh yet mouth watering. If not go to Dutch Bank closer to navy camp. Super clean food! The staff was very nice, especially those working in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with pancakes and french toasts too. Also the dinner was pretty good and it included a grilling station with fish and meat. On the beach they were building new beach ombrellas and more mantainance work was being done to improve the hotel.
