The accomodation was incredible. Amazing views of Mt Fuji on every floor, the ground floor had a couple sets of binoculars so u can get an even closer look. Restaurant was amazing, 4 course meal with unique and great tasting food with great views of Mt Fuji. Staff were so professional as well. Onsens were heated to appropriate temperatures and well maintained.

The beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was served by a group of wonderful elderly ladies, especially welcoming with their morning greetings and food were extremely delicious! You can take extra pillows, night wears and other basic amenities beside the counter at the lobby.

We came to Gotemba because we wanted a base from which to climb Fuji and the hotels offered an onsen which was far more reasonable that some of the other hotels in area.
There is a bus that runs from the train station to the 5th station where you can start your climb - just make sure you exit the station on the right side! (left as you come up the stairs from the trains)
Most useful if you've got a car otherwise I think I'd have stayed elsewhere

The Premium Outlets are a must see and you could spend all day there. Also, there are MASSIVE discounts for tourists (DEC 2022). The lava caves were also a great thing to see if you have extra time! The only bad thing about Gotemba are that the transportation is a bit tricky! The safari zoo was also pretty great. Try to get on the bus! You can feed lions!

We found the hotel was easy to locate and noticed several signs with the hotel and the distance (kilometers) to the hotel. Hotel parking area was conveniently located near the elevators and with good lighting. We found a great yakiniku place within a 10 min. drive from the hotel and saw many other options for places to eat. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful on explaining the hotel facilities. If we stayed for more than one night we would have been interested if there were places within walking distance of the hotel.

I lived there for 7 months 3 years and some change ago, but with COVID-19, the city has taken a big hit. Tourists were there, but not as many as before. The places I'd recommend to eat at before are no longer there, too. If you're considering coming to Gotemba, thoroughly do your research and partake of neighboring cities like Mishima, Numazu, Hakone, and Odawara.

You could use it as a base to visit afew places everyday or choose to stay at those places as well. The Tourist Visitor Information Ctr at the back of gotemba station where the airport shuttle would drop you is very friendly and helpful.

Great base for trekking Mt Fuji.
Great base for trekking Mt Fuji. Beautiful landscapes and Outlet Shopping!
We also went to the Fuji Speedway, which is a short distance away. Fortunately for us, there was the added bonus of actual racing going on!
Incredible! Its a totally different hotel from every hotel Ive been before. The host rebuild a historic cinema, so you own a whole cinema once you step in. No matter how many people you have, the cinema, the rooms, the toilet and kitchen all below to you. The best way to enjoy here is watching a movie in the sofa, take some local beer and then back to your cozy room. And there are several restaurants nearby are opened till midnight so you dont need to worry about food. Besides, the hotel is just 3 mins walking distance to railway station.
I liked the onsen overlooking the city. The baths were clean and spacious and the sauna was delightful. The club room was very nice to look out from and nice to have coffee complimentary available. The architecture of the hotel is fascinating and unlike anything I have seen. The staff were kind and helpful, Yoshi upon check in was also fantastic. He was very kind and informative and made us feel very welcomed. The waiters were also amazing and kind, I loved visiting for meals.
Location is few minutes walk from JR Gotemba Station so connection to public transportation is good. Staff is really nice and has explained to us everything we need to know when using the room. We arrived during a rainy day but the next day was sunny. We got surprised when we open the window of the room, as it has good and direct view of Mt. Fuji (Photo from room attached). Healthy Japanese food.
Clean comfortable, but dated apartment, with breathtaking views of Mt Fiji on a clear day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Gotemba station where you can pick up buses to the Hakone area on one side and the Mt Fuji area on the other. There are a few restaurants nearby but we preferred to use the large supermarkets within a short walk of the apartment.
There was so much to see and do.
The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The food at Together was great. We bought delicious pastries for breakfast.
The fountain show was fun, the kids liked it.
The Goldfish Aquarium is cute.
Great experience for our first time staying at a Japanese resort.
The Mt Fuji view was great. Newly opened hotel that is clean and the breakfast also had good variety. Room slightly small but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. The location is good for those who drive and want to go Gotemba Premium Outlets but it was quite a walk from the bus stop or train station.
the hotel is still new, everything is nice and the facilities are clean, loved the breakfast buffet. close to gotemba train station and bus station going to hakone or mt fuji. It also have a view of Mt fuji in your room on a clear day
Great location, quick walk from the station. Staff were helpful and attentive. The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji, and everything we needed for a night. Breakfast had a lot to choose too. Great value for money!
Clean and nice ambient. Big room for two person. Room window can see Mt fuji. Perfect view of mt.fuji at rooftop while doing footspa super perfect. Only 8min away from the gotemba station terminal by cab.
Friendly and very welcoming Indian receptionist lady.
Very helpful and good explained.
Location, you can see Mt Fuji in front of the hotel

Amazing view of Mt. Fuji right from your balcony!
Nice open-air bath with great views as well.
