The breakfast is perfect. although there are not too many choices of the dishes, most of the food offered are ureshino dishes, such as the roasted fishes, tofu, 明太子, peach flavor yogurt drink, etc. They taste very nice. And we had roast beef dinner in a restaurant outside the hotel.
The onsen on the roof is excellent: good view, hot, and the water is very soft . You will agree with me if you go there.
I stayed at a room for 6 (we are a group of 6). The room is spacious enough. The decoration is also new. The price really worth it.

This was a wonderful stay and the Japanese-styled room was comfortable for three of us. We loved the traditional welcome of helpful friendliness informing us that we should catch the shuttle bus to the mountain onsen in time to make it down for dinner. Lovely!
I am always concerned about inconveniencing the chef with my gluten-free food needs. It took some pre-communication and effort, but I really wanted my friends to experience the traditional kaiseki experience which is difficult (not possible) to provide as gluten-free in many ryokan. The staff and chef were able to provide kaiseki to my friends and for me a non-traditional meal which was exceptionally wonderful! I am forever thankful for their care and effort in making the meals and onsen a wonderful experience.
There are several onsen choices. In the morning, my friends went to the larger one which they said felt like being in a forest, and I went to the smaller lower-level one with pond, Koi and waterfall. The evening mountain onsen was truly a treat and I only wish I knew in advance to allow more time, but we were able to do a nice soak before dinner. This was one of the best ryokan experiences I have had and I would certainly return. My Japanese friends agreed.
We didn't see much of the town, but we would go back for that as well since it looked like an interesting stroll. Many other nearby attractions from important shrines, tea fields, and lovely pottery kiln town of Hasami to the Arita porcelain towns and museums as well. Top experience!

The reception lady is super nice, she welcomed us with a warm smile, answered all questions and offered information on the room and facilities, then walked us to the room. A very relaxing stay with in-room onsen, the public bath is good too. Breakfast is adequate, though more types of drinks could be offered in addition to coffee and green tea.

Ureshino is a country town we stayed in while traveling around japan. It was so simple, quiet and cute. It was the perfect spot in the middle of everything and the JR rail stations went everywhere so it was perfect. Bus stations are close, a lawsons down the street, and a train station close by.

Ureshino is a wonderful spa town with lots to see and do.
Ureshino is a wonderful spa town with lots to see and do. I highly recommend trying a traditional hotel for a relaxing stay. Downtown Ureshino has many cute cafes and restaurants. There are some points that are a little rundown, but clearly the town is growing and revitalizing. For the best experience, a car or bike may be necessary to access points like the nearby waterfalls.
A bit of a wild combination, traditional japanese-style rooms in a british-style hotel with Italian kitchen. Works out really well though. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. Feels very posh to visit, though i guess for the price you pay that is to be expected. The rentable private rotenburo is great, although mosquitoes can be annoying. The indoor ofuro is great as well, and there is a yukata available in each room.
We had a wonderful stay at his ryokan - the experience was new for us and we were impressed by the friendliness of staff and the meals (breakfast/dinner) that we had. It was a value-for-money ryokan and we would recommend lovely Ureshino in general as well!
they exceeded my expectations! room was beautiful, lots of space! super clean! good wifi! every day fresh tea and cookies in the room!!! helpful and kind staff! nothing negative!
lastly free shuttle to the Ureshino JR station 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
New and nicely done. I wish more hotels were like this hotel. It had everything you need but nothing more than that, so I don't pay for things I don't need. If you want a bathtub then stay somewhere else where you need to pay a lot more.
Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The area around (Ureshino Onsen) was beautiful with lots of shopping and attractions within walking distance. The room was spacious and pleasant, and both baths were nice.
We had a fabulous dinner at Fuji teppanyaki a short walk from the hotel! It was an intergenerational affair, no frills, super tasty, authentic local establishment. A highlight for my daughter and I on our trip.
Room was big, toilet and bathroom were separated, location was good staff were nice.
You need to pay for the tea cup onsen too but it was a really good experience :)
installation art everywhere inside the hotel, the view from 9F is satisfying. there’s lots to do in the hotel (bath / gallery / bookshop / tea saloon etc.)
location is near ureshino city centre. my room air conditioner was out of order and the staff changed the room as i requested. thank you for nice service.
