Breakfast was really good. The hot plates weren't hot, but that's normal for many hotels. Love the ambience of the hallways and breakfast room.

Ystad is a lovely town and the size of the city centre is just right for visitors without a car as everything is within walking distance. Love the small shops and the cobblestone pedestrian areas. There are lots of cafés, galleries and various other cultural sites to visit.

A lovely old town that has plenty of interesting history in the Danish Empire style with later municipal additions. Several museums show the towns past in an entertaining and educational way. Language is not a barrier here and people are welcoming, helpful and most accommodating. A quiet place off season (possibly too quiet for some) it is a great place to relax, wander around and see a special perspective on Sweden if you wish. The weather is key though, sea winds can be cold and so visiting when the season is in full swing (therefore a bit more expensive) is the best option. Transport links are excellent: the train from Copenhagen is an hour, plus buses are easy. Lots to see in the area and the local tourist office are amazing, going above and beyond if not too busy on the day. Good beaches, castles, old churches, tourist shops, tasty seafood - what more could you want!

We only stayed over for one night because otherwise, the drive would have been too far. The old town is beautiful but that is true of many European cities. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Ystad.

Ystad is one of the old European town in the southern most point of Sweden, surrounded by the Baltic Sea. The roads and lanes inside the town are lovely to walk around. Near by this place we visited to Ales Stenar and Sandhammaren beach, those were the greatest experience.

Ystad is a wonderful town, very attractive medieval streets, interesting museums, a wonderful theatre, and excellent coffee shops and restaurants. The sandy beaches are beautiful. Walking and cycling opportunities all over. The film studio, with all the Wallender memorabilia is really good fun. We went to several restaurants... the Bryggeriet in Långatan is the best!
Exceptional service, facilities, comfort and value for money. From the start of our stay, the welcoming, friendly and super-helpful approach from this family run hotel enabled us to have a really magical stay in this lovely historic town. Our all too short a stay in the off-season was in a relaxing and different destination that can be highly recommended; especially for those who want to see a beautiful area of Sweden less known to foreign visitors.
Excellent experience on check-in and our daughters were so delighted to tune in again on their Italian. We loved the uniqueness of the 4-storey apartment and the ease of heading out and parking the car. The standard of appliances and furniture is high, and of course we loved the view from the top! Our daughters really loved staying, even though our time in Ystad was quite short. They have already discussed how they can come back again next time.
Guy, the host, is the friendliest man and you can tell he thoroughly loves to host people. Immediately you feel welcome. He has great recommendations for visiting the area. The breakfast is very good and includes traditional Swedish foods. Great location to Ystad and the surrounding beauty. Very quiet. I would encourage anybody to stay. You will not be disappointed!
A cosy little house on a beautiful traditional-looking street in the town centre. Great and quick communication regarding how to get access. Loved the look of the sleeping area -especially the old wooden beams. The stairs were steep which might be a problem for some. The house had all the essentials and I'd book again for sure should I come back to Ystad.
We stayed at house 2 and it was just wonderful. Stylishly furnished, obviously given lots of love, thought and time in decorating it. It was clean and had everything you needed. The hosts were amazing, very responsive and rightfully proud. The area is beautiful, peaceful yet close enough to Ystad. Will definitely stay there again for our next Sweden trip.
This is a very comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a good location. Walking distance to the port, train station, town and beach.
Communication with the owner was excellent and the price was reasonable in context with prices in Sweden.
There are a couple of very good supermarkets within a ten minute walk ( Lidl and Co-op) and also a Burger King.
This charming, old-school (in a good way!) hotel is in an ideal location for enjoying everything Ystad has to offer. Quick walk or bicycle ride (cycles available for rent at the reasonable rate of 100 kr. per day) to the harbour, to the town centre, to the ferry, etc. Lovely garden where one can eat breakfast or drink tea or coffee all day long.
First, the host Palle was awesome! Friendly, helpful and took so good care of us! The house and the room was made with style and elegance. Everything was clean and good quality. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. Easy parking, good breakfast. People who are physically disabled have also taken considered. Nice countryside surroundings.
A charming little hotel, in an excellent location. The courtyard was beautiful, and a lovely place to sit in the evening. The owner was really welcoming and we were really touched by her special gift for our anniversary.
location was very good and the back exit was right in a green area
we couldn’t park in the hotel because it was fully booked but the public parking in the back in cheaper
This place was really delightful. Room and decor were wonderful, and the breakfast was very good as well. It was our favorite stay in our two week trip in Sweden.
