The people in the hotel were really pleasant and tried their best to please us. Always polite, smiling and also accommodating specificities out of the dinner menu.
The Gädi hotel enjoys a central and sunny location in Grächen, right next to the Märchen-Gondelbahn cable car that takes you into the heart of Hannigalp.

A very nice family own hotel, clean rooms, and very friendly staff! The variety at breakfast, really prompt service, and the location close to the town center and very close to mountain gondolas are a great plus for a nice stay in beautiful Grachen! I appreciated the friendly atmosphere, and not to forget free parking places right at the hotel! Thank you for all!

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, everything was great from our arrival. We were welcomed with a glass of wine in the sofa by the chimney during check in. We then stayed for excellent dinner at their restaurant La Torre - delicious pasta and tiramisù. Breakfast was abundant, with homemade cake, warm crunchy bread, and a cook who prepared eggs on the spot - would recommend the omelette. Staff members were really friendly! After a day of skiing in Zermatt, we could relax at the spa area, which was quiet and very well equipped (2 dry saunas, 1 humid sauna, jacuzzis, showers, an area for reading). Wish we would have stayed longer at this great hotel! Promised ourselves we will be back soon - grazie, merci for the stay Grächerhof!
Featuring an indoor pool and a hot tub, the 3-star superior Hotel & Spa Hannigalp enjoys a quiet location in the car-free southern part of Grächen, about 350 metres from the centre of the village.
Hotel Alpha is located at the entrance of Grächen, just a 1-minute walk from the Hannigalp cable car. All rooms have a balcony. WLAN is available in the public areas.

Simple hotel run with a lot of heart and generosity by a friendly local family. Will def. book again. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bedding and mattress were exceptionally comfortable. Great buffet breakfast served from 8am with a self-serve coffee machine that makes any type of coffee one likes. Very quiet. Seems to have a lovely terrace (which I didn't use as was there only briefly). Parking is tricky in Grächen village, so I made use of the Alpha's paid parking 1 min away (CHF 6/night).
Located in the car-free part of Grächen, this newly renovated hotel is a 6-minute walk away from the slopes and cable cars. It offers panoramic mountains views and free Wi-Fi.

Great ski slopes, a lot of different restaurants, amazing hiking paths and a great view. The locals are welcoming and there's always something fun going on. We actually have a family member who loves it so much they're planning on moving there. Super family-friendly as well, even with very small kids.

Very nice and beautiful town.
Very nice and beautiful town. The town itself as well as the area around it.
Before going there, I was a bit concerned about the car free zone, but it turned out to be very easy to park the car, and very easy to get around in the relatively small town. Once the car was parked it was very nice to be in a place without cars.

Grächen is great.
Grächen is great. I think everyone can find something to do there. The region has prepared different paths for relaxed hiking, for heavy hiking, biking. I was surprised to see how many areas have been prepared also for grill with friends & family (incl. Fireplaces).
Nice restaurants and small bars are also available. The lockal butcher offers great things for the grill or take home.

I spent two nights in Grächen.
I spent two nights in Grächen. There is good hiking in the area with a variety of different lengths/difficulties. The people in this town are very friendly. I had some excellent fondue at The Walliserstube Restaurant. Would strongly recommend this area for families with children.
********** are all the extra stars due to the Hotel Eden! We arrived late and stressed after a stuff up by another hotel, and from the first conversation ('everything is OK, I will be here') the Hotel Eden excelled. We had a delightful room with a spectacular view of the Weisshorn range, a lovely view and Grächen is a great town. But Kurt and Gisela are the reason that Hotel Eden is next level - such friendly, caring and attentive hosts, they define hospitality. I hope we have an opportunity to return for a longer stay.
This is an amazing budget option and excellent as a base or stopover for trekking and climbing. Probably the best value accomodation in Switzerland. There is a well equipped kitchen, washing/dryer and the rooms are basic but comfortable. A great place to meet many other people and enjoy company and shared interests. There is a grocery and bus stop 2 min away. Grachen is a beautiful village to walk around and explore.
Wonderful and comfortable apartment at the ground floor of a chalet, with amazing views of the mountains. Hosts were very friendly and always willing to help. The apartment is well equipped and it takes around 10min walking to village centre (or 0 min if you want to adventure yourself in some hiking trails). Grachen is a great place for families, and I wish we have had more time to stay here.
Very nice property with excellent hosts that make sure your every need is met. Property is located close to the city center with restaurants and a grocery store. The views from our balcony in the front of the hotel were fantastic. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a small village versus a large city or town. If you want to get away from the multitude of tourists this is the place.
Amazing location surrounded by a stunning landscape!. Excellent attention and service from the Staff. Clean and cozy rooms, on top of being pet friendly. We couldn't resist having dinner dinner every night at the hotel and enjoying what Chef Olivier had prepared for us and served by lovely Carol! Highly recommmended.
Amazing views, no noise from other people in the building. Everything in Grächen was accesible by foot. After a few days we received a gift, which surprised us. It wasn't necessary, but I want to thank the owner for the gesture. In short: we had an amazing time here, would definitely recommend.
The staff is really sweet, everything is spotless, breakfast is top, wellness was terrific. There's a service to take guests with all their stuff from the parking in the village to the hotel, so there's no need to struggle with the luggage. And the food, definitely the food. Ate too much :-)
Beautifully decorated hotel in a great location, couple of mins walk from the bus stop. Fabulous breakfast variety. The restaurant is superb and can't recommend it highly enough. Everyone there was very accommodating and very helpful.
It's a charming b&b style hotel up the hill from the main square. From the back of the property you are directly on the trails leading up to Hanigalp. The breakfast is superb. The restaurant is charming. We will definitely be back!
Really exceptional accomodation and service. We stayed in a dozen places in Switzerland, and this really stood out. Big room, modern bathrooms and really comfortable bed. The staff went to great lengths to make the stay excellent.
Beautiful little hotel with a lovely spa area and great breakfast.
Martin and Melanie were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do you enough for you to make sure you have a great stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Excellent location, free parking, spatious appartment, a bit of artistic style of the hotel. Being a bit outside Graechen, the hotel is accessible with a car (no need in electric-car service).
Nice location and great view. Excellent position to start exploring Grachen and its surroundings.
Clean house, complete kitchen.
Atmosphere felt like 'sleeping over at (grand)parents'
The views were amazing. The size accommodated the size of our party and it had easy access to grocery stores and not far from our ancestral home of Vispertermine, Switzerland.
The apartment was large enough for 6 people to share. Having 2 bathrooms was especially good. Grachen is a gorgeous town close enough to Zermatt to enjoy the famous walks.
The apartment is very lovely with good view and fully equipped facilities.
The hosts are very kind and friendly.
Grachen is a charming town and worth to visit.
