The location is fine, close to many restaurants and parks. A walk to the major historical sites is a bit longer (about 25 min), but you'll walk along a leafy boulevard and it is easy to get there. They set up several of those wooden platforms with dasturxons (draped with rugs and korpachas of course) where you can just sit and drink tea and instant coffee, available at all hours of the day, and listen to birds sing. The WiFi is some of the fastest i've ever encountered in Uzbekistan - 60mbps! and the staff, who seem to just be a big family, are endlessly friendly and helpful.
