The room with the view, the reserve is super nice with a lot of animals to see. Could be better than Etosha itself. It definitely worths staying at least 2 nights. The guide for the Leopard tour was very instructive

Great lodge in perfect location for stopover between Etosha and Windhoek. Everything is well organised and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have an excellent platform to watch their game and look up at the Milky Way. They also have bigger animals on their game drives including rhino and giraffe.

This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek.
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek.
We left Etosha to travel south, visiting the Cheetah Conservation Foundation at Otjiwarongo and then enjoying a relaxed dinner and evening at Out of Town Africa Lodge.
Our stay was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast was relaxed, we were not the early birds, but we were not rushed away by the staff.
I highly recommend this little gem of a town and place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights but most travellers would probably stay one. Not very busy and this is probably because it is too far away to be a sensible base for exploring Etosha. A visit to the nearby Cheetah Foundation is well worth the time

This is a crossroad town.
This is a crossroad town. Good place for an overnight stay, gas up or eat. Not a place I would visit for its tourist attractions. This is the closest you can stay when visiting the Cheetah Conservation Fund and I found the drive to the CCF quite easy.

Otjiwarongo a nice and clean town and easy to get around.
Otjiwarongo a nice and clean town and easy to get around. Casa Forno a excellent restaurant and a good place to eat. I visited Infotech Computers to sort out a modem connecting problem and they assisted me very helpful.
Wow!! Where to start?! Beautiful, large rooms...great food...location for views of the Waterberg Plateau...nearby waterhole for viewing local wildlife...but most of all, immediate access to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) and all of the activities associated with that: the Cheetah run, the Cheetah safari and the behind-the-scenes tour...INCREDIBLE!! We even had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Laurie Marker, the founder of CCF. The guides and staff of the CCF were all amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about their work.
The lodge, facilities and rooms are all excellent. The setting is beautiful and the walks/game drive is worth the visit alone. Lots of animals and birds to see. Maals are very good indeed and the staff amongst the friendliest and most hospitable I have met with in nearly 35 years of travelling to Namibia. All in all simply outstanding value for money and the perfect place to stay for a first night in Namibia.
The lodge is about 4 kms away from Otjiwarongo city center. A nice, quiet location, with ostriches and small gazelles walking around in the open space between the bungalows/rooms. The rooms are large, quality of the beds is very good. Each room has a terrace overlooking the garden and the animals. Excellent restaurant, with a set menu (choice between 2 or 3 alternatives).
Very good accommodation for stopover in Otjiwarongo. We stayed here one night and visited Okonjima as a day tour (around 1 hour drive).
The rooms are spacy and very comfy. The lodge is beautifully decorated and has a cute patio.
Excellent breakfast!
Value for money is really good considering the prices for other lodges.
The hotel is well situated in Otjiwarongo with it's own restaurant, which serves big dishes. It is also close to other places inside Otjiwarongo. We had to leave early and missed the breakfast, but got a nice 'breakfast to go' prepared by the staff the night before we left.
This place is amazing, starting from the appearance to all its areas and facilities. You will find yourself in a high-end hotel for a very good price. Confortable, enjoyable and safe private parking.
Give a chance to its restaurant and specially the "boboti" :)
Lovely hotel with nice pool & super family rooms with separate upstairs. Playground for kids to play. Clean & spacious, would definitely stay again. Great for a stop over or even longer. Food & service were very good. Good value for money.
Just beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Lovely patio to watch the animals. Nice pool area. No power at dinner, but we had a wonderful candlelight dinner. You would never know the power was down.
Staff were very nice.
A lovely lodge where great attention has been given to the decor. Conveniently situated off the main tar road between Windhoek and Otjiwarongo. Beautiful landscape,
especially stunning on a sunset game drive. Very friendly staff.
It was our first night in Namibia and the host made us feel very welcome and gave us loads of tips about the area and game viewing. Lots of wildlife at the farm, especially birds, cold beer on tap, what else could you want?
A great gate away for hotels and a convenient stop over from Zambezi enroute to the coast. The tented accommodation was great and in the wilderness. The hostess is great company and the hot dinner was most welcome.
This hotel is extremely affordable and practical for a pit stop en route to Windhoek. It may not offer luxury or extravagance, but it serves its purpose.
