A quiet hotel on the beach - we only stayed one night but the bed was comfortable and we had a nice room overlooking the golf course. All in order and would stay again if visiting this part of Scotland.

Fabulous caravan, had everything we needed and so comfy. Staff were brilliant and so lovely with my boys, a lovely lady (forgot to ask her name!) brought them a hedgehog to see which they were thrilled with! Thank you!

A perfect location for everyone (as long as you’re not terrified of bats, I love them). The nature and castle is incredibile. A must visit and I would recommend experiencing this place to everyone I know. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable. 100/100

Online the pictures showed were not indicative of what we got. The host was 35 minutes late for our arrival time, we had to sit in the car waiting till they showed up. Online a restaurant was advertised, so although the Hall was in the middle of nowhere we thought we could have our meals there. WRONG, There is a huge sign advertising meals but we were informed it closed. The hall advertised excellent breakfast, but it was a cold buffet. The beds were very old and lumpy and the bathroom floor very slippery when wet, We did not stay for breakfast as we were so over this terrible place.

The cottage was ideal for a few days away, there was a walk 5mins from door which took you to the coastline photo on review. Then you could walk 1 1/2 miles to Redkirk or follow the shore path the opposite way.Dpny know what paths were like as too rainy to do it. 5 miles from Annan 20inutes drive to Gretna

Annan is a small town but has lovely scenery and a good walking area by the river. It's great if you use it as a base to go to Gretna and Carlisle both accessible by train. The station is only about a 6 minute walk to the town centre. Cafe Royal make an amazing fish n chips dinner, portions are huge. I don't play golf but saw a sign for a golf course. Also a sign for a distillery. Annan oozes with friendliness. I will definitely be going again.

A mixture of 17 Th Century red sandstone buildings with a wide Main Street indicating an old market town. Many buildings had references to Robert Burns. It’s got a harbour and lots of “old fashioned “ individual businesses. Worth at least a day on its own or 2 to 3 as a base if you want to explore Dumfries and Galloway !

A nice place to stay for one or two nights.
A nice place to stay for one or two nights. In this small town you can get a really good fisk and chips.
You can have a great evening at the local pub and have a chat with the locals.
There are two places worth visiting if you enjoy drinking alcohol. Annandale destillery. Very nice place to take the tour and the local gin destillery.

decent little town, with a few good shops and restaurants, however if you are looking for Gluten free food here, you will struggle, hardly any pubs or restaurants provides it. vwery disappointing really this day and age
The Old Rectory is a perfect example of Scottish BnB accommodation. Breakfast was excellent, we all had plenty to sustain us through the day. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Dave was helpful with suggestions of where to get other meals and the guest house was quiet and clean. I see others complain about the water pressure of the showers (I've actually seen worse in big hotels), but when you've not had a working shower at home for over 12 months due to renovation's, any shower is better than none. Perspective is everything ;-)
We stayed in Annan for one night on our way home from Western Scotland. Bridge View was perfect. Great location next to river walks and central to the bars and restaurants, yet super quiet once inside. Fantastic facilities including milk, tea & coffee, toiletries including conditioner (often overlooked), quality towels and bed linen and the best hairdryer I've ever used! The place is clearly new, extremely comfortable and was absolutely spotless. Don't hesitate to book!
Beautiful hotel on the coast overlooking a golf course.wonderful views from the window and a beautiful deck just outside our bedroom. Very sturdy and watertight double door to the deck, tested by the strong winds and rain that evening. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Nice menu with smoked fish selections for bkfst and extra attentive staff. Ample free parking.
breakfast was excellent choice of every thing just take your pick location good walks or just sit outside enjoying the view with a drink near to Gretna outlets shopping and shops Annan plus the old work place were explosives were made well worth a visit walk along the shore to the caravan leisure centre for a meal or just a drink.
.Great welcome from Dave..just a lovely little B&B in lovely Annan. Owner allowed me to store my bike safely inside the property and provided a hearty gluten free breakfast
Room was clean, spacious and a good temperature with a super comfy bed.
Great stay, thoroughly recommended
Beautiful period property with lovely original features. Very good size room and huge bathroom. Convenient on street parking outside the hotel.
Situated on a quiet street off the main high street in Annan. Good location for exploring the area.
Polite and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is being renovated, my room was clexx as n but tired but I’m sure post renovation it will be super. I liked the hotel and we enjoyed our stay. It was great value and we would stay again.
Very nice hotel and the restaurant was a revelation. The food was not only superb but was a long way from the usual hotel fare and was very reasonably priced. Breakfast once again was excellent, a good variety of dishes all well cooked
From start to finish the staff were so lovely. Time was taken from all staff to give answers to questions we had and given with a smile. The hotel itself was warm and comfortable and exceptionally clean. We would definitely recommend it.
Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Meals we had were all lovely.
Room was clean and comfortable. valuable for money. Can't wait to go again.
Hotel well situated to see Scotland and Carlisle.
Dave is a wonderful host. He was of particular help to me, as I came down with Covid as I arrived in Annan. I only was able to have one breakfast, and it was very good. Location was perfect.
Absolutely everything. I love old buildings and this Hotel has lots of character. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up! It was very quiet as well despite being in a town centre.
Home from Home, everything we needed. We stayed as we where playing golf golf at Powfoot Golf Club. Nice and quiet and not to far from Annan Town Center. Would definitely stay again.!
The welcome from the staff. So friendly.
The hotel seems to be trying hard to modernise , hope they have ever success.
Delighted with our stay, will return. Highly recommend.
