Both the pros & cons were exactly the same thing - it was quiet , out in the countryside and birds chirping happily in the mornings ! I genuinely believe that staying just a little longer , would have ensured no problems with locating it ! Jim is an absolute gentleman and nothing is too much bother for him ! I’d advise that you won’t be merely an anonymous card key holder … You are warmly greeted here , with friendly advice of using the kitchen and TV lounge as and when you please … There is a warmth and true homeliness here , and now that I am more relaxed regarding the set up , I will definitely be back on my own….. to truly relax !

having stayed here before a few years ago WE found the Courtyard Loft to be every bit as good as remembered.
Hosts were excellent even leaving a little supply of tea/coffee & milk to get you settled in,
will definitely use again and will have no hesitation in recommending them

Very easy to get to from the bus station. directions were clear about key pickup and Nicole was there to greet me. A very roomy downstairs with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, protected outdoor area. hosts flexible about extending one day. soap, shampoo, body wash provided. Also a facecloth which was a luxury! The manager/greeter Nicole was very helpful and personable.

Loved the older style of the hotel. Rooms was spacious, clean and beds comfy. Restaurant attached (including bar) was very good and good value. Wish I had been able to stay longer and explore the local area.

We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome.
We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it.
We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness.
I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.

The city itself was a nice place to visit with lots of great shops, cafes and eateries. The area around the city is a great place for views, countryside walks and again lots of places to eat, drink and chill.

Got a clear sense of history in the city, with plenty of locations to visit and to get a feel for the place. As the city itself is not too big all of attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of each other.

Lovely park and walk beside hotel...enjoyed shops...lovely cathedral....just one little hicup..after leaving cathedral i went to filling station opposite as i needed to pick up a few things..i asked the little girl behind the counter if they had a toilet i could use...she replied no which was ok but i found her rude and not in the least bit friendly, unlike some of the other shops i visited...apart from that i had a great time in Armagh😁
Authentic rural pub for the local populace. Large authenic old-style rooms. Excellent pub food - when it is open. Genuinely friendly acceptance of tourists by the hotel and restaurant personnel and also by local residents in the bar. If you wish to really experience Ireland then you must stay here: The local Gaelic football club sings irish songs late on Saturday night. The pub even has a stage for large events.

A friendly and very helpful welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities one would require. Tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings. The owners are very concerned about the comfort and requirements of their guests. I will happily stay there again when I need accommodation in Armagh. Thank you for making me so welcome.
The Rose was the perfect place to base myself while in the Armagh area and Olivia was an exceptional host ensuring that I had everything I needed. The house has all mod-cons and is spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and each room has an ensuite. There's even a secure outdoor area which I could use to store my bike overnight (I was in the area to do a cycle)
The Meadows is just on the edge of Armagh so in a great location. The host was warm and welcoming and I felt very much at home. The room was very cosy and comfortable, with an ensuite shower room. Breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay again. Thank - you for looking after me so well.
Great big living area with comfy sofas and great size of a TV with all channels / services
Exceptionally clean
Great size of a fridge and sink
Big comfy double bed with plenty of pillows
Very short drive to Armagh City Hotel.
Great value.
Powerful and hot shower.
Brenda was a great host.
We were only staying from 6 PM (for a show in a nearby hotel), and had to leave next morning at 9 AM, but we really thought it would be a very comfortable apartment for a longer stay. (Breakfast not included in our deal, but we brought some food of our own and kitchen facilities were good).
Thank you, Margaret & Mervyn. Your welcome and friendliness was really appreciated. The accommodation was wonderful and it seemed a shame to be only staying for the one night! I will definitely book again if I'm in Armagh.
Absolutley clean. Comfy beds. Lots of hot water for shower. Close to town. Host was friendly and we loved having access to the shared kitchen area and sun room was nice to spend time in.
Bernie is a superb host, it was a real pleasure staying with her. The house is immaculate and the bedroom was very clean and we'll kept. It's about a 15,min walk into the centre of Armagh
