The breakfast room/dining room was very comfortable. The pub was nice as well. Tables were spaced nicely. There were several locals having drinks, which was fun to listen to.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Ardlui Retreat.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Ardlui Retreat. Perfect location with gorgeous view and it's not too far from the Lake site. The rooms were well maintained and felt comfortable. I slept so comfortably. As we like to cook our own food I felt the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Staff were so helpful and did their best to help with anything we would need. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay especially my parents who were long way from home were overwhelmed with the beauty and hospitality. Would recommend staying here.

Excellent location, private second floor ensuite room with a view of the mountains and loch, very delicious breakfast. Easy check-in with a courteous receptionist. After leaving I realised whilst on my onward journey to Oban I'd left my phone charger in the room, I phoned the hotel and the staff very kindly reserved it for me to collect three days later.
Beautiful location on the banks of Loch Long. Scenery was amazing. Professional but friendly staff always ready to give advice and point you in the right direction. Great choice of breakfast with full Scottish to Vegan options. Restaurant had a great choice of meals from snacks, lunch and full dinner menus.
Room was clean and spacious and had everything you would need for your stay. Overall a happy run establishment with bar, restaurant and beer garden oh and a sheltered area outside for you smokers. We would definitely go back.
Fascadail house is a beautiful period house with lovely gardens overlooking Loch Long. We were very pleasantly surprised by our room which was actually 2 rooms - a bedroom and a sitting room and bathroom area. Both rooms were absolutely lovely and beautifully appointed. Our host Barbara was very helpful in giving advice on things to do in the local area. We were very impressed with Arrochar and can thoroughly recommend it as a holiday location - and Fascadail House is the place to stay. We totally loved it.
Everything !! Great location and even though on the A83 it was very quite.
The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home.
The cottage is very nice with everything you need for a home from home stay.
Very clean inside with comfy furniture and a very comfy bed.
The views from the lounge and bedroom windows was breath taking and even better when viewing from outside ! Simply stunning views of the Arrochar alps and loch Long.
Thank you for a lovely if not rather damp stay.
This was our second stay, we stayed the week before for two nights and decided to go back this week and requested the same room as the view is amazing out to the hills and across the loch, staff where so kind to allow us to have the room again, our stay was amazing, such an amazing place an the hotel is full of character, the location is exceptional and we climbed the hill at luss, there are so many things to do and see, look forward to going back soon 😄
The hotel is situated perfectly on the banks of Loch Long with spectacular view of the loch and the hillside beyond. The room was spacious, immaculate and well appointed. The Loch view description did not disappoint, even in the poor weather I arrived in. The local village contains a small number of options for food, but Ben Arthurs Bothy next door served a great meal and pint at a good price.
- Paul was so kind and lovely during our stay. He was supplied us with information and brochures about tourism and attractions.
- The breakfast was so delicious and the vegetarian sausages and yogurts were the best sausages we have eaten in the Whole UK.
- The room was good with a wonderful view on loch long.
- Very good location
- Definitely we will return again

Ideally situated next door to the Village Inn serving excellent food and listed in the Good Beer Guide,
Close to the Arrochar carparks for The Cobbler/Ben Arthur mountain route.
Nice view of Loch Long and the mountains through mature trees.
Anything you could possibly want provided.
Friendly hostess and good cooked breakfast with homemade jams.
The Arrochar Hotel is excellent value for money, with a spacious and warm lounge/lobby. I was impressed by how punctilious it is about Covid precautions and that I did not once glimpse an unmasked number of staff. I also appreciated the warmth and friendliness of restaurant staff and a tasty evening meal and breakfast at most reasonable rates.
Glebe Country House is a very nice example of a classic B&B. Bernadette, the host, gave a very friendly welcome. She has lavished every corner with very nice details, and the finishes and furnishings are excellent. The setting is lovely and quiet, with a view from the front bedrooms of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was terrific.
View from room was amazing! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, Staff where very nice and accommodating. Decor a little dated but this should be expected for the age and location of the hotel. Will definitely book again, location is exceptional, we had an amazing two nights.
Clean. All amenities present. Nice view on Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps. At the back of the house there is a narrow, but nice seating area with a hot tub. the Village Inn pub is very nice and close to the cottage. Good location for exploring the Loch Lomond area and Arrochar Alps.
The Village Inn was absolutely lovely! It was the perfect end to a busy day being a tourist. The hotel was well maintained and the room made us feel comfortable and "at home". We also were able to eat dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious.
Location is beautiful. Arrochar is a stunningly located village on the shore of Loch Long overlooking the Arrochar Alps with Loch Lomond only a few miles away. Theres a lovely pub near the hotel and a restaurant in the next village, Tarbet.
This place is fabulous! We loved everything about it. Close to a pub, a small grocery store, a fish & chips shop and right over Loch Lomond. The views were amazing and the place was beautifully decorated. Loved it so much!
Lovely cottage, Equipped with everything needed for home from home stay, Great location as loch lomond and Arrochar close by with pubs/restaurants too. Would defo recommend and would book again.
Location was great ..Great views of Loch long and few hotels and the bar next door were great for food and ale ,its was clean and tidy and shower was great ..pressure etc
