If you don’t want to drive there is a bus service with stops close to the holiday home. Some lovely shops and eateries in Auchterarder. Easy to get to the nearby little village of Dunning, Perth, Falkirk, Stirling etc if you can drag yourselves away from the Gleneagles estate. Lots to do there - including the golf of course - or just sit back, relax and enjoy a good book in the natural surroundings. The holiday home has excellent facilities for self catering or alternatively the Gleneagles Hotel offers excellent dining facilities and is only about 500 yards away from your base.
Would highly recommend.

The Jubilee walk in and around the Town plus beautiful parks, very easy to gain access to all shops and restraunts.
All the eating facilities looked excellent but we did not frequent them, as the facilities in kitchen were excellent at Craig Rossie Cottage, so we did not need to eat out.
There was nothing that we didn't like or needed to avoid

Avoid room 8, The headboard is on the stairs wall and the room is above the restaurant.
Lovely grounds with information boards about the different trees etc.
The leisure facilities are brilliant with the best massage in Scotland in the opinion of my wife.
The property is beautiful accommodating to our needs friendly and personable. A family oriented hotel! Country club atmosphere. The staff manager Iris and staff member Angus made it possible for us to have our comforts met! The grounds are classic and very well kept with a multitude of activities available. However the warm sitting areas are excellent for reading and relaxing near a warm fireplace. The restaurants and bars are very good!
Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, had everything we could need and more, it really was a home from home. Felt relaxed as soon as we got in, location is great as it gives you far more options for things to do being between two bigger areas. Plenty of space for two adults and a child, huge benefit of two bathrooms, would love to come back in summer time with our dogs and also make use of the lovely private outdoor seating areas.
Lovely quiet setting and beautiful big self catering lodge. Lots of space and well equipped. Spa facilities were also excellent - gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Lodge had a nice patio to sit out, plenty of parking, easy walk to the hotel where the restaurant and bar are situated. Not far from Auchterarder where there are lovely walks, shops and restaurants.
Apartment was stylish and very clean. The location was ideal for us to celebrate an occasion at Gleneagles hotel. The rooms were all great in size and the huge bed was very comfortable.
Pleasant views from the window and with binoculars were able to see many birds including a woodpecker. We also saw deer grazing in the woodland.

The restaurant at the hotel was lovely, nice staff, great food at a reasonable price, recommend a visit if staying on the estate.
Very comfortable stay in a spacious, very well-appointed cabin in a quiet, peaceful setting. A short drive to the nearby village of Auchterarder.

Smiley multitasking staff, serene surroundings, fine food, boutique accommodation. Lovely gardens and outside seating. Five star service and customer care throughout our stay. And it's just across the road from the best golf course in Auchterarder!!
We have stayed at Gleneagles Hotel Numerous times and wanted to return for our 25th wedding anniversary but just couldnt justify the hotel prices….. do glad we found “The Beeches” stunning accommodation a stone throw away from hotel
The property was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The location was ideal for Auchterarder and for walking in the grounds of the hotel. The little extras, bread, milk, orange juice etc., were a very thoughtful touch.
Persie Croft is a very comfortable B&B close to the centre of Auchterarder, and provided by very kind and engaging hosts. The stay was complemented by an excellent breakfast, including some superb local produce.
We liked the hotel facilities, the room itself was gorgeously decorated, the bathroom super modern and clean. The dinner was one of the best we have had in a long while. Breakfast was great as well. A true gem.
The location was perfect for us as we had booked Golf at The Gleneagles Hotel. It was a 8 ish min walk to the hotel and the surrounding area was beautiful. A lovely walk to town too which was approx 50 mins.
Absolutely wonderful hotel, with terrific facilities, lovely big rooms and friendly, efficient staff. The breakfast buffet was quite exceptional and dinner in The Strathearn was unforgettable.
