We had a large nicely decorated/furnished double aspect room with a large bathroom and walk in shower and one window looked out to the river
The room was exceptionally quiet given that it was above the restaurant and one window faced the main road.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was easy to control in terms of water output and temperature
The staff were very welcoming and the evening and breakfast meals were excellent

Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, within easy walking distance from Balloch. Lovely to park outside, there was a table and chairs outside at the front too. Lots of restaurants and shops in Balloch and you can walk to the river and catch a ferry or tour of Loch Lomand, also near to Loch Lomand Shores, worth a visit if you like water sports, adventure playground for children, Sea Life and a few shops.
It was lovely to have space, rather than cramped hotel rooms great value for money and very clean.
Absolutely stunning property that sits behind a 1930’s Art Deco (former) hotel. Property has been finished to an extremely high standard and is completely kitted out with everything you would want (if not more) on a home away from home stay. Lot’s of added touches like toiletries, tissues, washing up liquids etc. Master bedroom is massive and has a beautiful en suite. Smaller bedroom equally lovely/cosy. What a fabulous find on booking.com. Truly wonderful place to stay and enjoy beautiful Balloch.
This was one of the great B&Bs we stayed at on our trip. It was the perfect place to stay to cap off our visit to Scotland. I can't think of anything that was lacking. The friendly host, the lovely room, the delicious breakfast, and the great location were all perfect. The host was so friendly and helpful. She even moved her own car so that we would have a better place to park! We are trying to think of an excuse to return!
clear instructions were provided and user manual

Beautiful view and lovely place

Homie place
I loved the storage area it is spacious(it is like a small room inside the bedroom)
Front view are large glass windows, so you’ll have to weigh the privacy versus the view
Very good heating system
The hotel room was amazing with plenty of space and excellent amenities. The beds were extremely comfy.
The restaurant was great, the food was of a high standard and the chef was very accessible.
The staff were exceptional. Dez leads a fantastic team with Isabelle by his side . They both made our time personal to us checking in on us all.
I can’t wait to go back
- Location was perfect. Right across from the train station and close to all sights.
- Breakfast. We didn't get to try all of it, since we had an early train, but the menu looked excellent.
- The restaurant Tullie Inn just across the street had very good lunch deals.
- The place with best value for money during our 2 weeks trip around Scotland
it was in a great little town on the shores of loch lomond, beautiful places to walk and hike nearby. it was right in front of the dock for the loch cruises. there was the most beautiful park arount the castle 3 minutes walk away. there was a really good restaurant and a beer garden at the hotel. the rooms they gave us were outstanding.
The nice flat is well located in the area. It is clean, spacious and hall everything you will need for a few days in the area. Parking is free and well sized, things to do on Balloch are within walking distance. Try walking into town via the foot and cyclepath nearby and after dinner the large park is great for an evening stroll.
Big clean room with a well-stocked kitchen and living space. Comfortable bed. Loved having access to a washer and dryer. Gordon was very helpful getting me checked in and talking through some nearby attractions to check out. Property is stunningly gorgeous with a beautiful sheep farm next door.
I've stayed at three hotels at Balloch this year, and Tulie inn got the best location. It's wonderful for people travelling by public transport and walking because it's close to the Balloch Castle Country Park and other popular places.
Very good location. Cheap for the area that we stayed in. Had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely room and very comfortable bed. We will definitely be looking to see if this accommodation is available again for future visits.
I have been coming to Balloch for 30 years and always stayed in hotels. No more! This is a little home from home. Clean, well decorated, well equipped near to town with own little outdoor area to enjoy the river. Perfect!
Good value for money at £54 per night per room. Good breakfast. Ample outdoor seating area. Walking distance to Balloch train station and docks. Clean hotel with adherence to social distancing guidelines.
Squeaky clean, well equipped, spacious, great service and delicious breakfast (scrambled eggs from eggs laid fresh from the hens there in the morning, what more can I say)!
