Woodlands Lodge Hotel, hotel in Bartley

Woodlands Lodge Hotel is a privately owned 3-star country house hotel, in an idyllic location on the edge of the New Forest.

Excellent breakfast in pleasant surroundings overlooking the garden. Stayed at the hotel often and it continues to meet my expectations. Not modern typical New Forest and comfortable.

Holiday Inn Express Southampton West, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Bartley

Located off junction 1 of the M271 motorway, and just off the M27 motorway, this hotel has offers accommodation in Southampton with modern rooms, a guest lounge and free parking.

Breakfast was ok- although putting out 6 coisants for around 50 people was laughable. The room was ok however the hotel was set what looked like a building site. This wasn’t explained when booking

Bartley Lodge Hotel, hotel in Bartley

Bartley Lodge is an elegant Grade II listed building surrounded by 8 acres of grounds. Meals in its AA Rosette-awarded restaurant are created using local produce.

I like the old Manor House appearance and the grounds. The rooms are comfortable and everything you need is provided. The decor is reasonably modern and clean. It is more reasonably priced in the new forest area, which can be an expensive place to stay. I would stay here again. I imagine people have wedding receptions here.

Forest Lodge Hotel, hotel in Bartley

Formerly a Georgia Dower House of the Northerwood Estate, Forest Lodge Hotel blends historical charm and contemporary style with warm hospitality.

Made very welcome and given an overview guide of facilities. The Cellar was a great place for families and good to have a more adult quiet space too. Good breakfast menu. Extra bonus was the pool.

All the staff where super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Really dog friendly dogs could basically go everywhere with you except one dinning room, fair enough!! Amazing location you can walk right out into the forest, we saw cows, deers and horses just behind the hotel. The bath was superb in room 1 was huge and water was super hot! Bed was comfy and clean. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Very close to pubs for dinner. Overall a really great stay would highly recommend and would definitely come back.

The staff were all very friendly and smiled all the time, they were happy to answer questions and help with any queries. The bed was very comfortable and our room had all the facilities we needed. Location was excellent as able to get to places around the New Forest easily, you could also walk directly into the forest from the hotel grounds.

A group of 9 of us had a lovely weekend stay here for the weekend. The rooms were bright and spacious with comfy beds, the gardens were fun to explore, and we really enjoyed the more homely atmosphere of a smaller hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome!

Very friendly staff who were happy to help and offer their services. Lovely back garden, walking out into the New Forest. Great location for starting our cycling adventure. We didn't have a dog with us, but the hotel is dog friendly with dog treats and beds available.
