The room I was in was comfortable. The shower room was very good just the heated towel rail a little hard to reach .

A very cute B&B that is located just outside of Bakewell, absolutely stunning. Country pub just next door. The owners have everything covered, and were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious. Overall a very comfortable stay and we shall definitely return. 100% recommend!

Fantastic find.
Fantastic find. Needed a stopover whilst working in the area. Mixing work and pleasure, the Devonshire was all pleasure. Good location, (after a fabulous dinner we had a fabulous evening walk from the hotel in the nearby Chatsworth estate. Great value for money. Baslow is a fab place.
Baslow is a fab place. It has lots to offer, including The Cavendish Hotel, which is amazing! There are lots of places to eat, with a variety of styles. It is easy to get round Baslow. I don't need to avoid anything in Baslow, it's got everything I like.Jenny - 8.0Scored 8.0

A pretty village with a couple of independent shops, restaurants and pubs (can highly recommend the food at the Prince of Wales.) The main attraction is Chatsworth though which is fabulous and never disappoints!

A lot of thought and care had obviously gone into preparing this property for guests. The bed was so comfortable and it was lovely to wake up in such beautiful surroundings. As it was dog friendly there was a dog and water bowl dog towel and even some poo bags!! The whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Perfect location to explore the Derbyshire Dales in a lovely little village. Lovely pubs which did great food literally a stones throw away!!HilaryUnited Kingdom

There's private access directly onto the estate from the B&B so you can walk until your heart's content, and a selection of lovely pubs in Baslow. 10 minutes from Bakewell we felt spoilt for options. An uphill walk to Baslow Edge and the Eagle Stone, a nice circular walk to Grindleford. Three lovely pubs close by. Everything we needed was provided and Penny was amazing and so helpful. Close to Chatsworth, can walk there through the beautiful grounds. Very near to our family and has a pub and a shop opposite! What’s not to like?
