Great location. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had to leave early one morning- well before breakfast, and they prepared light breakfasts for 3 of us to have on the train. It was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated.
Absolutely top notch service 👌
Thank you so much

The Slaughters are gorgeous & if you love walking, you can walk from Bourton-on the Water , and also walk between Lower & Upper Slaughter. It’s relatively flat, so moderate fitness is adequate. Just make sure you have good walking shoes as it can be a bit muddy on the track

This area is so heavily burdened by tourists that I felt bad for contributing to the problem. It is picturesque and the people are lovely. If you are visiting, I hope you will have the manners to consider where you put your trash and to not obstruct other people when you are trying to get your 1000 pics for social media.

Bourton on the Water, is a beautiful country town but a nightmare on a bank holiday….too busy. The locals were not very welcoming and a little curt when speaking to you except for Venezia - the staff and family were very welcoming and the food was delicious. So too was The Willow. Staff were super friendly and food was good. The rest of the local community are quite rude, maybe they were exhausted from the Bank holiday weekend? Bourton on the Water is picturesque and very well worth a visit. It was lovely to sit along the river and people watch.

A lovely historic town with some tourist attractions within walking distance. We spent a day exploring the town and visited the model village, the motor museum and Birdland. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from; in warmer weather it would be lovely to eat outside and enjoy the views of the river.

This is by far the most excellent hotel/B&B in the Cotswolds. I could not fault anything! The historic building has been recently and tastefully renovated so you get that historic feel, but with all the creature comforts. The rooms were very clean with ample coffee and teas and towels.
The free breakfast was made to order and was absolutely delicious. Not usually I breakfast person but gobbled it down. The staff were all delightful. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Room is nice and cozy. Bad is very soft and comfortable, we have a good sleep after long drive from London. Facilities in the room were amazing, they have all branded stuffs for guest. Bath room is luxury with those lotion and toiletaries. Bath tub is classice. We have 2 meals with them and its remarkable. Lastly, hotel staffs is really friendly and service minded, great job. We love the set up pretty much.
The property is in an excellent location in the heart of Bourton on the Water with close access to local restaurants, cafes and pubs. The room was spacious with an adjacent large bathroom comprising free standing bath and shower unit. The bedroom was very comfortable with excellent views over looking the river - window seats available for relaxation. Equipment including small fridge and coffee/ tea making.
Good location in lovely town of Bourton on the Water. Staff was very friendly, responsive to our needs and helpful. Special thanks to the chef who got up early to prepare take-away breakfast sandwiches -delicious and filling - an hour before scheduled breakfast service so that we could get an early start on hiking.
The owners are friendly, very helpful and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The breakfast is excellent and the property is in a fantastic location for visiting Bourton on the Water.
I would definitely recommend this hotel/guest house.
We loved the old building and the cute smallish room in the attic. We had a gorgeous view over the town and the sun was shining in the room creating a wonderful light. The hotel is in the middle of the village and the restaurant is outstanding!
Good value, great location in the Cotswolds close to public walking trails, very nice staff, rustic pub, cheery and homey rooms, and they offer several great choices for an included breakfast. Had a delicious pork roast lunch there as well.
Traditional Inn. Great location in Cotswolds. The room was nice and cosy. Good breakfast alternatives. Pet friendly. The walk around Great Rissington was lovely. We also visited Bourton on the water and Stow on the wold - both very nice.
Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful owners. Clean comfortable room. Superb breakfast and 10 minute pleasant walk along river into Bourton on the Water. We used this as our base for travelling around the Cotswolds.
small, cosy, independent hotel/pub in perfect location for bourton on water and rest of surrounding Cotswolds. Food including breakfast (included in stay) was fantastic. Staff very attentive, even when busy.
great value for money
Great breakfast at the hotel across the road. The cottage was clean and spacious with nice decor, and is a fantastic location to explore Bourton on the Water. There is a kids play area behind the property which was a nice bonus.
Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Lovely food. Breakfast was cooked to order which was so much nicer than the usual buffet. The hotel was in the centre of the village which made it easier to walk around.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice and quiet traditional Cotswolds pub/hotel in a perfect location, dogs allowed, good full English breakfast included in a good price.
