Traditional British breakfast well cooked with many options and choice available. Excellent restaurant for an evening meal should you require it with a wide choice of food available including fresh local sea fish. We used the restaurant twice and had faultless meals fairly priced. A beautiful period house decorated in keeping with its age and full of interest. Our room was well appointed, dinky but we expected that. It was lovely, clean and warm. The owners and staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast offering was excellent, a good choice of fruit, cereal, hot drinks etc and the cooked breakfast menu was extensive and catered for all tastes. The vegetarian option was first class. Located a 5 minute walk into the main town we found this perfect, close to restaurants, coffee shops etc but away from the hustle and bustle. A bus stop was just opposite the hotel if you didn’t want to use the car for exploring. The hotel had a handy car park for guest use and the pretty garden was a quiet haven for relaxing with a bar facility. There was also a communal guest lounge for guests to use.All in all the Bridge House was the perfect choice for us.
