Did the job, cute wee room above a traditional Cumbrian pub. Great place to stay if you also want to enjoy some real ales and Cumbrian food. The staff were all lovely and it had good heating (not always the case in these parts). The breakfast the next day was tasty and served in front of a roaring fire.

It was really clean, tidy and spacious with everything you needed. It was very close to shops and restaurants and the views were great. It was good value for the area and a short drive away from walks in the Lakes

It was a good breakfast and the fridge and microwave in the room was very handy and sadly lacking in most UK hotels, if you go to the states it almost standard as is a fridge in most European hotels.
