The hotel was on the main road which was convenient. Sue was very helpful. The room was upstairs from a nice small bar where the locals were friendly and interesting to talk to. The bed was very big and comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. There were interesting whiskey displays in the bar as well. We had a very pleasant stay.
To edit: The mile long tree lined High Street has an attractive square and village green and situated right in the centre of the Village is the Aberlour Hotel.

Craigallachie itself is very small. If you are out and about in the car it is perfect for you. The Highlander Inn was a great place to eat. Aberlour just 2 miles away was in walking distance and the walk along the river was nice. You had to walk along the main road to get to the path though. The cottage is just off the main road but it is quite peaceful. You don`t hear the traffic inside really. Unfortunately we didn`t get to many tourist places as they were still closed.

Close to lots of things to do indoors and out.
Close to lots of things to do indoors and out. Enjoyed the trip even though most of the distilleries were closed. Had a great visit to the cooperage and lots of walks which were accessible and manageable by us.

Very relaxed and relaxing.
Very relaxed and relaxing. Friendly laid back staff, no fuss about checkin or checkout times, or about dogs being a bit boisterous. The restaurant is informal, in a bar setting, and the food was good standard. Lovely walks nearby, just right for a short winter break with roaring log fire and a cosy whisky bar.

A relaxing stay but we did have to eat in more than anticipated as it was difficult to get booked in to any of the local restaurants/pubs. We managed to get booked in to the Copper Dog on our last night and really enjoyed it.
I loved the whole character of the place, I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owners. The room was exceptional and tastefully laid out. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever tasted. Most of all being a lone female traveller I judge a hotel by how safe I feel and this was one of the most relaxed and comfortable places I have ever been in. I can't wait to return.
Overall experience was very good. Would like to call out the Quaich Bar and the bar tender Callum. Incredible knowledge of whisky, very accommodating to guests, willing to share insights and make great matches for guests' tastes.
The property was gorgeous. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom made us feel like we are at a luxury spa. The homemade pizzas are also quite delicious
Really quiet hotel - much further back from the road than other Aberlour / Rothes hotels. Great food too, breakfast and also the 'light bite' platters were of a really high standard, with super service.
Fantastic location and communication from the property was excellent. On-site dining very good and whisky bar is world class. This property is an absolute gem and is not properly marketed on the site.
The hotel was within walking distance to the River Spey. the area was so peaceful and quiet, The hotel had a outside seating area. The staff could not do enough for you and the food tasted great.
manager was lovely, very friendly and helpful. room was comfortable, especially liked the dark curtains. great whisky bar with entertaining staff, good breakfast with delicious coffee
location great for Whisky Trail exploring. Scott and Julie are wonderful hosts. Breakfast delicious with lots of choices. it was helpful that they offered snacks and light meals.
Beautiful hotel and the perfect setting. We are in the Copper Dog and the meal and drinks were fantastic.
The Whisky bar, the reason for our trip, was very good.
The guy running the whisky bar was incredibly knowledgeable.
The evening in the bar was excellent with a local guy playing the guitar - he had the place packed.
Wonderful malt whisky bar.
Many design features throughout.
Friendly owners and staff, all keeping Covid-19 rules.
Delightful short walk to nearby restaurant.
Traditional B&B hotel in great location to visit whisky distilleries in the area. Friendly staff, good food and excellent whisky bar underneath the hotel.
