Breakfast was ample, check in/ out was simple, the building seemed to lack a Scottish ambiance, for example, small throws here and there, an imitation fire with a basket of logs, photos of Dalmally past and present, some Scottish history of the surrounding areas. Argyll is steeped in history.

My booking said it was £9.95 per person per breakfast.

My booking said it was £9.95 per person per breakfast. There was 4 of us and they tried to charge us £64 for 4 breakfasts. One friend got given 1 cheap sausage, 1 piece of bacon, and a spoonful of scrambled egg, some poor coffee and a slice of toast and was expected to pay £16. We weren't warned about these absurd prices prior to eating. Dinner menu was terrible, and also insanely expensive. It also finishes at 9pm. We decided to share a pack of hobnobs instead of being ripped off - don't think there is much choice locally in terms of alternatives. Staff a bit rude and not very good at jobs. My friend had to teach the barman how to poor a pint properly.
