Exceptional! Visited for my little girls birthday as a treat (she wanted to stay in a “posh” hotel). Staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was simply stunning. The food in the Saltfish was divine. We both smiled all weekend! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming; a lovely gentleman walked us over to the building where our room was. The room was so spacious and comfy. We were staying to break up a journey from Scotland and arrived late but still enjoyed relaxing whilst watching tv. Really nice rainfall shower and a lovely, quiet countryside area!

This is a great place to go in any direction to good locations York , Durham etc not long drives and country side is beautiful Darlington is a bit of a let down but still enough to do with plenty of good places to go for food

It was beautiful with lots of interesting history & it's got beautiful grounds which would be beautiful in the summer so can't wait to plan another trip to The George in the summer time. The room was very clean & had everything we needed. The only negative I have is we had to ask about information about meals etc but the staff were more than helpfulAAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Quiet town with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Local recreation and sightseeing, major train depot. I had good weather while I was there, nearly everything you need is within walking distance of most hotels.

The staff at 119 are just lovely, so friendly and helpful. The boss is prepared to do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, he really is a top man! The facilities are faultless, everywhere is clean and tidy. The kitchen has tea and coffee facilities, and can be used whenever needed, (obviously taking other guests into consideration) My partner and I have stayed here twice now and would not stay anywhere else, we have found somewhere that's comfortable friendly professional and above all else brilliant value for money.
