Good location for the event we were attending.
We booked a budget room and had an unexpected upgrade to a suite with sea view on arrival.
Beautiful gardens and we made use of the leisure facilities during our stay. Using the pool, jacuzzi, gym, stream room and snooker room
Furnishings alittle tired and outdated but all clean and tidy and fit for use. Bed was comfy. Nice quiet room Had a fabulous breakfast and evening meal at the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful definately would use this hotel again.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

Excellent beach facilities especially out of season if you have a dog. Plenty of good restaurants. People seem very friendly. A fantastic park run along the seafront on Saturday mornings.
A really nice vibe to the town.
Our room, no, róóms (plural) were spacious beyond expectations... tations...tations...tations. We even had two bathrooms. Our topbartenders Lloyd and Titch combine old-fashioned professionality with friendliness. All staff members are hospitable. The facilities like swimming pools are free. Breakfast is superb. The enormous garden is beautiful. The building is charming (although it seems a bit weighed down by its years). Bottomline: this is the best place to stay in Exmouth. (And I visited a few.)
Really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Beacon Hotel. Comfortable bed resulting in a great nights sleep. We reserved parking and arrived to our name already reserved at a spot making it an easy arrival with no stress for parking. Very friendly staff throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location, 5 min walk to town centre and 3 min walk to sea front couldn’t have been better located. Would definitely recommend!
Nice place to stay, centrally located for walk along the promenade and restaurants. Room was clean and modern. The staff went out of their way to ensure my bike was put in secure storage overnight in one of utility and storage rooms behind the hotel and also they let me use their water hose to clean my bike the following morning after it amassed dirt over the past week on my bikepacking holiday along the south coast
Excellent position close to the sea and the town. Nice welcome and check in very straightforward. Large room with sea view. Very clean. We didn't use the restaurant or bar but looked nice. They do a cocktail happy hour. We wanted a last minute night away by the sea and this hotel was very reasonably priced. We were lucky to secure unrestricted on-street parking a short distance away.
Lovely location in Exmouth with beautiful views out to sea. Close to town and beach. Walking distance. Upgraded to a superior sea view room, which was lovely. It had a little balcony, which I sat on watching the world go by as the weather in February was lovely. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Plenty of parking spaces and reasonable at £6 per 24 hours . Lovely quiet stay.
I liked returning to Yves town cottage as our first choice of place to stay when visiting family in Exmouth. It is very conveniently located - only 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than that to the shops. The wifi is reliable, enabling me to participate in a school governors video meeting during my stay. The kitchen is decently equipped and rooms clean.
A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!
The staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming and we were upgraded for free as it was my birthday. That was such a lovely touch. Hotel was stunning and also views would have been if it were not for the rain and we arrived when it was dark. Hope to stay longer next time to explore properly.
Very convenient location right on beachfront and next to park. Quiet and clean room. There was a nice outdoor terrace to sit on leading off the hotel bar and nice views from the bar, although this was partially blocked by the window blinds. Fair tea/coffee facilities in room.
The customer service is this hotel is amazing they make you feel welcome soon as you walk through the door no stress no worries helped in every way. The guy down in t he gym/pool had a great sense of humor was among everyone happy and comfortable while we stayed
The hotel is very well situated on the Exmouth promenade. The rooms were spacious and we were offered free parking. English breakfast in the morning was per expectations although the service could have been faster.
Breakfast was lovely and waiting staff good. Reception staff friendly. Parking made easy with names on spaces. Location of hotel was perfect.
Other areas of the hotel were appealing and smart.
A great place to stay, lovely host, very clean, well equipped and nicely furnished and maintained, very close to Exmouth, and easy walking to pubs and restaurants. Excellent of road parking
It was lovely that there was tea and coffee and milk provided, plenty of towels too and washing tablets. The area was beautiful, canonteign falls, clovelly and exmouth beach are a must.
