Exmouth is a lovely seaside town, extremely friendly people who are really helpful when trying to fins a shop or particular place. Many restaurants, bars and pubs. We went for a beautiful 2 mile walk along the new footpath/cycle coastal route up to Lympstone and back on the local train. The following day we went on a boat trip to Topsham which was excellent. The captain was great and gave us an excellent and informative commentary. We then explored Topsham, had some lunch in a local pub and caught the train back to Exmouth. The train fare was included in the boat trip booking.

    Really lovely town centre.

Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops. Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts. Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm. Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

The amount of facilities was wonderful to explore, the jacuzzi was very relaxing, the room had a beautiful view of the hotel's garden and the beach. We particularly loved the inside pool and jacuzzi. They also have a heated outdoor pool and a tennis court. The staff were very nice and helpful. There was a slight issue with the bathroom which was dealt with quickly and smoothly. The rooms are old fashioned but still nice and big, and had everything we needed. Would definitely return and probably the nicest Hotel in Exmouth!

Lovely and everything you’d expect from a little seaside cottage. Although the actual road isn’t isn’t you’re typical pretty road it’s in a very good location, 7 mins drive from the seafront, 4mins from Tesco with petrol station, parking in the road right outside. Overall very convenient. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive. Exmouth is a great area for families, my two children and I had a great week here and decided to stay another week locally. I would highly recommend and would love to return in the future.

The staff were very helpful in finding us a ground floor room as my partner was struggling with his breathing. The location was great, just across from the beach and close to pubs and restaurants. We met with friends and had food/drinks at The Engine Shed which I would recommend. The room was basic but clean. The hotel could do with some updating. Not worth £127. I have stayed in far better hotels for much less. However, Exmouth Pride was on, so this could be why the price was so high.

The location is excellent, with Sea views and great access to the sea front and town. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the Breakfast was superb. The hotel is very clean. And well looked after. The most important thing was that the hotel is dog friendly and everyone was so welcoming or our beautiful little Chihuahua. (Other dogs and breeds are also welcomed 😊) If you are visiting Exmouth this hotel is in the perfect location.

The location was ideal for touring East Devon. Situated between Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton you have the choice or visit both. Exmouth is ideal for catching a bus or train to Exeter. The view from the house is spectacular, overlooking glorious countryside with the sea in the horizon. Lovely tables and chairs are outside the patio doors for you to enjoy the view while eating the delicious cake and drinking tea on your arrival.

The Imperial hotel was in a fantastic location to explore Exmouth. The hotel itself was very grand and very different to previous hotels that we have stayed in. It had a lot of character and it was interesting to look at the old photographs of the hotel and learn about its history. With the current Covid restrictions we felt very safe and we felt that the hotel had made it as safe as possible for its guests.

Excellent seafront location. We booked a standard double but we're upgraded to a large sea view room. I mentioned it was my birthday and the man on reception left chocolate brownies and a birthday greeting note in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There were lots of nice toiletries in the room. It was very clean. There was parking in front of the hotel for £6

A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!

You know what you get with a garden room. Great price, not as big or comfortable as a hotel. The room was clean. Friendly owner. We could use the garden and did not see anyone else there. Near enough to Exmouth and beach (15 minute walk).
