Hotel at the base of the Gondola at the Nevis Range resort. It is out of Fort William and very quiet at night in May. The bed was a double but was comfortable. Tea and coffee making was appreciated. It was convenient for the mountain bike park. I liked the art work by local artist Jack Spowart.

Fort William as a town needs investment, depending on why you are there I suppose would change your opinion.
Ben nevis 10 mins away, beautiful loch on doorstep fishing , climbing walking, down hill cycling, ski ing, diving all plus points.
Night time especially week night useless.
Morar and Mallaig to the North beautiful and in summer amazing beach at Morar.
If you are there for hobby or sport great base camp, if you are a tourist and like entertainment at night during the week go somewhere else.

Fort William was as nice as usual however please note certain businesses are only open during tourist season. We also enjoyed filling up on the gondolas at Nevis Range. I must say though, try and avoid Caledonia hotel. The toilet was like what you get in a nursery and my private parts in the water. Carpet threadbare, wallpaper coming off the walls due to dampness, a very uncomfortable bed, adjoining door that we were not made aware of. Electricity was off on arrival and due to my dust allergies and at 3pm the room had not been cleaned, we left and checked in later. There was still dirt in the room and at the top of the bed, I caughed thru the night both nights. When it rained you could hear a loud drip from within the wall cavity. I'm not a confrontational person and didn't feel comfortable bringing the issues up with reception, so just be warned. The lift was out of order too. Beware room 220!!! Such shame being a brilliant location .

Fort William is a nice little town very well located.
Fort William is a nice little town very well located. It's ten minutes away from Ben Nevis and 45mn from Glencoe ski resort. Before that, you have all the Glencoe mountains to explore. There are still a lot to do during winter, even if snow sports are not an option due to lack of snow and/or high winds. You have the West Highland Museum, a brand new movie theatre, the Ben Nevis distillery, an indoor climbing centre, etc.
The apartment location is fantastic, it is possible to walk to Fort William city center and there is a bus stop nearby too. The kitchen has everything you need (cutlery, pans, glasses, etc) and the washing machine was very handy as we were on a long trip. We really felt at home during our stay. Would definetly recommend and stay here again.
Unfortunately we did not get to meet the property managers as the check in and check out are handled by email but they seem to be the nicest people from the messages we have exchanged.
Great location between Loch Ness and Glenn Coe, so much nicer to stay here than staying in Fort WIlliam! We had a very good meal at the restaurant, just perfect after a long day in a quiet and layed back setting, and then just walked back to our conmfortable and quiet room for a long night before another eventful day.
Breakfast was very good as well and the breakfast lounge looks over the garden on a beautiful pink cherry blossom tree that was full bloom so it was a real delight.
We were in Fort William to climb Ben Nevis. We wanted to stay somewhere quiet and not in a hotel. We came across Number 6 and it was everything we wanted, clean (new and well looked after, the place looked and smelled great), quiet (didn't hear a peep), had a small pantry with kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. Some goodies were also supplied....great job guys, really liked the place.
TV had on demand, Netflix and Prime :)
The hotel is located in a great spot along the water in Fort William. The building itself is beautiful and the staff we're extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. It was a bit on the small side but we were only staying for a night so that wasn't a real issue. If we were staying for longer I could see the room size becoming more of a factor when it comes to comfort.
We liked everything in Ormasaig! Great hosts - even we did not had chance to meet them, communication was perfect.
Clean and tidy, all kitchen facilities!
Three bedrooms and each had separate bathroom! This is not very usual, yet very very convienet!
Location - 2km to Fort William, during nice weather it is a bless!
Amazing view from the living room!
Would definitely recommend to anyone!
The Garrison was a brilliant hotel in the heart of Fort William. I loved how this hotels welcome dogs as wee took our wee staffy with us. The room was clean, I felt it was a good size for what it is for a nice cosy bed for the night. We will definitely be staying her again with and without our pup. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the snacks in the room (that were complimentary).
Beautiful location on the edge of Loch Linnhe, close to Fort William and walking distance to a hotel for an evening meal. The host could not have been more friendly or accommodating, happily dropped us off at the train station on our second day and helped organise a taxi for us to go further afield for an evening meal as well.
We went to Fort William primarily for the Jacobite Steam Train, so close this inn because it was close to the train station. We liked the location, our room was very large and was equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comfy. Cooked breakfast was good, and the dinner we had in the Browns restaurant was also good.
The hotel is a stunning hotel, with amazing views. the location was perfect for our visit to Fort William ti go on the Jacobite steam train,
the room was very well furnished, the beds were comfortable and the en-suite was really nice.
we had the full cooked breakfast in the morning which included haggis, perfect!!
The location was picturesque with the Loch on the doorstep and only a 10 minute drive into Fort William and all the local shops and supermarkets. The hotel was extremely clean and the housekeeping supervisor that we approached regarding fresh towels was incredibly nice and helpful.
A very nice hotel which is located at a great spot with perfect view and staff offered a wonderful service. Especially the Filipino lady at the reception was so sweet and nice. We had a great stay and probably come back again if we visit Fort William next time.
Great location, lovely welcome pack, Fort William 3 miles away, great for walks next to Neptune's staircase, handy for the Moorings Hotel if you want a drink, lovely views of Ben Nevis out of the window, what more can I say, excellent
This hotel is located at one end of Fort William's main pedestrianised street, near the train station, yet it has a well-sized car park too. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hotel was good value.
Location was outstanding. Nice modern well equipped apartment right in the center of Fort William.
Make sure you go see Victoria at the Kilted Camel downstairs for breakfast!
a really pleasant albeit quite traditional hotel but quite appropriate for the area. well situated for all the expected attractions of Fort William and surrounding area.
Very nice breakfast with a wide selection. The hotel is located in an ideal spot in Fort William. We felt comfortable in the hotel room which was spacious and clean.
