A lovely traditional pub selling great beer and serving excellent food. My room was compact but comfortable and well equipped. I wish I could have stayed longer as it is situated on a lovely part of the Thames.

Phyllis Court Members Club is quintessentially English - croquet on the lawn and afternoon tea. The grounds are lovely, being situated next to the River Thames. It is so peaceful, and one can sit by the river and while away the hours in the idyllic surroundings.
The property itself was clean. The bathroom was a good size with a deep bath, excellent shower and Noble Isle toiletries. My husband enjoyed having use of the snooker room.
Breakfast in The Orangery was very good with a choice of food. We also dined there on the second evening of our stay. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly.

Henley is such a memorable town for us as I was at school there and grew up in the area. So for me it is well worth visiting.
We were disappointed with the river as it has (like so many other rivers) been flooded this year so we could not go for our usual walk along the River Thames which is so amazing.

Great place to walk around and see the boats on the river Thames, lovely old pubs and restaurants.
Probably would get very overwhelmed when the Henley regatta is on. Car parks could get a little overcrowded.

Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival,...
Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival, didn't get to experience much that the rest of the town had to offer.
Seemed to be a general disconnect between the event management who knew how many tickets were sold, and the council/private business in providing services to accommodate that size crowd. For example: (1) event itself was cashless, but riverboat transport to & from only took cash, and no working ATM's in the town. This caused a lot of issues for a lot of people. (2) No temporary lighting along the river path despite knowing the path would be used by hundreds of people each night in the dark. The path is very narrow and not maintained in several places. (3) Disconnect between the advertised times of the boat service in the event literature vs the actual running times, left groups of people stranded last thing at night, then having to walk back along that very dark path

Beautiful town, with lovely small shops and very good restaurants. My daughter just moved here so we are delighted. It feels very safe and it is very clean. The Regatta was on so we enjoyed one day there and currently there is a music festival on. SO its rather busy right now.

A lovely little town to walk around especially along the river. You don’t need more than half a day unless you want to explore places outside the center. It has good boutique shops but no high street cheap fashion brands as it’s quite an upmarket little town. But it does have Boots, W H Smiths and Starbucks and a lot of good choices for eating. Have breakfast at Bijans, take a long walk along the river, lunch at The Bull, walk around the town and the dinner at The Giggling Squid.

The location is the best thing about this hotel,it is right in the centre of Henley & you are surrounded by everything you needed to get to. As it was part of wetherspoons group we knew what to expect from food/pub & sort of costs for things. The family room we had was a great space, we all had place to spread out which was appreciated & also the little seating area was a nice touch instead of being forced to sit on the bed all the time. Had a great outdoor space to eat or have a drink.
Great hotel in a really good location in heart of Henley very near the river. The building is a converted brewery but the decor in the rooms is quite contemporary and very well maintained, and we all had large bathrooms with huge shower cubicles and really good deluge shower heads. Common areas are also very nice with great indoor bar and outside drinks and (separate) dining area. Breakfast good as well though didn’t have lunch or dinner.
Traditional pub with rooms on quiet street near the centre of Henley, a stone’s throw from public car park and many restaurants and cafes. There was a warm welcome from staff who phoned in advance to check when we would be arriving. This is the opposite of a corporate hotel, the room had everything we needed and was bright and clean.
Lovely room overlooking a very pleasant walled garden. Very close to Henley for eating out.
Very nice breakfast bar area, we had a choice of four different breakfasts. Although we had to wait a while for breakfast to be served!
We had to leave quite early so it felt a little slow the service!.
But we would be glad to stay again
Period Henley is a tastefully decorated, well appointed property in the centre of the beautiful market town of Henley on Thames. The car space makes exploring the greater area easy and when you are done everything in the town is an easy walk. Sian is a great host who communicates all information well.
The breakfast was exceptional, well presented, and delicious. Hosts very attentive, liked Richards sense of humour, he's very funny. My partner loves animals, so she loved the cats' chickens and fish. Great place to stay, will stay again, and would highly recommend it.
Excellent. Food and service excellent. Great view from restaurant and bedroom balcony across to Thames and rowers on the river.
Staff very helpful and attentive and hotel within walking distance of Henley on Thames. Good base for touring around.
The village was so pretty - so the location was perfect. Hotel was a joy to stay at with quaint rooms that have plenty of room and character. The staff are very attentive and happy to chat. Will deffo be back soon !! Such a nice break 😊
We were attending a festival in the area and would not get to the hotel until very late but we were provided with all of the information that we needed to access the room. The room itself was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
The hotel is beautiful - a sensitively restored former brewery. I loved the many different areas - bar, snug, restaurant, courtyard. The room was well appointed, with large bathroom and comfortable bed. The bartender was brilliant
This place was different from anywhere else we stayed. The beds were comfortable. The windows opened for fresh air, yet it was quiet. It was convenient to walk to town centre and the river. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good, higher standard than usual hotels. Sausages and Bacon felt good quality not the usual whats the cheapest sausage we can buy type of thing you get at other hotels.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the town center. The pub/hotel was very busy, but the staff were very quick to serve everyone. The staff is one of the pub/hotels best asset.
was one of the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in ever. Has access and view to the river the front area of the reception/restaurant building amazing.
