Everything about this place was special. The location, the accommodation, the food and all the staff were so lovely. Hannah and her husband couldn't have been more welcoming, service with a genuine smile 😊 and dog friendly too. Would definitely go back. Thankyou.

This cottage is absolutely stunning, me and my wife stayed here just before our wedding and waking up to that view in the morning was absolutely magical.
The absolutely perfect place to stay and we will hopefully be back for our anniversary.

Leek is a lovely market town that has retained many original features. You can see money is being invested in the area and it is a good place to travel out from to see the sights. There are many places of interest, walks and waterfalls and of course the peak district itself. So many pubs to choose from all stocking locally brewed ales

This is quite a lively but friendly town with everything you need when you are away from home. Good Esso garage and shop with easy access. The roads are busy but manageable even in torrential rain. I stayed just outside of Leek but a lovely area of the countryside.

Leek is a market town full of character. Interesting architecture and lots of small independent shops to explore.
We explored Leek on foot and found a park to relax in. There are some good restaurants and we can recommend Napoli restaurant with a good range of pizza and pasta dishes.

There was so much more to do than we anticipated with the lake to explore and lots of playgrounds, markets and walks. There is also the railway which is a really nice way to visit the lake and make the most of the sightseeing for little legs.

We visited Derbyshire to visit The Potteries, so didn't spend much time in Leek.
As there wasn't anything gluten free on hotel menu that took my fancy , we drove 7 minutes up the road to The Pack Horse inn, Crowdecote. Lovely meal in a cosy old pub amongst pretty scenery.
The 3 Horse Shoes is a great place for weddings. Superb gardens.
We stopped off at Buxton Spa Town on way back home. Beautiful Georgian buildings and The Pavillion on gorgeous park. Worth a visit.

The roads are not too busy and the countryside is lovely and scenic so it feels like you are on holiday even if you are working.
It looks like a ramblers or walkers paradise and there are several campsites. Hotel prices are comparable and there is a great Esso garage with a spar shop which offers nectar points. I saw an Aldi store which looked busy but I didn't have time to explore.
A super place to stay right in the heart of Leek with shops, restaurants and bars within minutes. The beds were comfy, parking was great and everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully prepared, complete with generous tea and coffee making facilities and a teddy on our bed! We loved the pub, which is wonderfully friendly and in the tradition of great British pubs. Claire greeted us with a warm welcome and could not have been more lovely and helpful. Breakfast is sadly not on offer but that would have been the icing on the cake!
I’ve stayed at these apartments a few times now and I love them. They are so stylish as well as comfy with absolutely everything you need at hand.
The location is perfect for leek town with the Co Op right underneath that can provide you with everything.
They are very reasonably priced and the hosts couldn’t be more accommodating.
We ran into some travel problems and they accommodated us on a couple different changes.
Highly recommend this property. We couldn’t have been more appreciative.
Great location in Leek town centre with parking next to the rooms. Walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was very clean and had tea and coffee making facilities and an ample heater for a cold night. The cooked breakfast next morning was exceptional and served in a lovely dining room in the main building. Paul and his wife were friendly and they obviously work very hard at proving a good quality bed and breakfast
Very friendly staff and were very accomodating to us needing an early morning check in. Lovely, clean room, extremely comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Towel sets provided plus tea/coffee for the morning. Uses a pin code to get in at night so easy if coming back after hours. Great value for money in city centre location. Perfect accomodation if attending wedding near the area.
The apartment is stunning - a beautiful old building in the middle of Leek. Everything is finished to a very high standard and the hosts were really helpful.
There was even a Christmas tree in the lounge which was just magical.
We would highly recommend booking in here and we hope to be back again to explore more of the area!
Short stay for one night, wish I had booked a extra night to fully appreciate the area and it's beauty, we had booked one night as we were at a wedding venue at a location near by.
The stay in the hotel was excellent and breakfast exceptional, I will be booking this hotel again in the future 2 nights at least.
Breakfast was great. Good quality, well cooked. Glad about parking as Leek is very hilly. The hotel carpark has quite a narrow steep entrance which is fine if you are confident or have a narrow car. It is wide enough for transits etc. Very quiet.
Lovely pub and hotel. We had a family meal at lunchtime and went for a walk. The countryside us stunning and the hotel ideally located. The room was cozy and we had everything we needed including tea/coffee and a homemade cookie..
We liked the location and size of the property. The contact was available when we called and dealt with an issue speedily. The apartment was well laid out and had all the usual extras that you would want from a hotel
Location was excellent - central to Leek as expected and stated. It was a quirky residence, where we felt at home easily. Lots of things for young children to do. Generally it was what we expected.
This was the second time we've stayed here and were very impressed again. The room was spotless, staff were friendly and the breakfast was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Leek.
Hotel was so much nicer than the pictures show and much bigger rooms too! Perfect for our pre wedding night stay with friends and family.
Staff we so helpful and accommodating.
Beautiful guest house, off the beaten path in a charming small English town. The bar/restaurant was fabulous and the rooms were very well equipped and welcoming.
Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location close to town centre and people we were visiting. Has it's own parking. Would stay again if we were in the area.
