The location was pretty and not far from the main road or the Welsh Botanical Garden.
The hosts could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
The room was scrupulously clean and the bed really comfortable.
Our dinner was delicious and far better than expected in a country inn. The menu was modern and the food cooked whilst we watched.

Lovely studio in a convenient location. We chose it as a stopover while travelling from North to south wales. It has the basic facilities like microwave, toaster, fridge and some dinnerware. The bathroom was big and clean. Had private parking space. We had comfortable stay.

Llandeilo is a lovely market town, set on a hill with the majestic River Towy below, meandering West to Carmarthen. There are many places to eat from a quick snack to à la carte meals. It is reasonably easy to walk around the town, where you'll find many interesting shops. You might be surprised what you find at Peppercorn, Barr & Co, Rig Out Boutique, Toast, Mari Thomas Jewellery, The little Welsh Dresser, to name a few. We love it ... and would live there if the house we fancied hadn't been sold the day before we saw it. But we visit from afar every 2-3 months. Walkable with interesting shops, especially the craft shop and gallery with the work of many local artists and craftspeople. Provision & Pitchfork is a great stop for deli supplies & excellent breads, as well as snacky meals and good coffee. For garden lovers, nearby Aberglasney Gardens is a must visit.

Location, about 1 mile from town centre (uphill and downhill) pleasant walk passed entrance to Dinefwr Castle. Ruined Norman castle overlooking the River Tywi magnificent viewpoint able to climb ramparts to have best views entrance to castle is free but parking at National Trust carpark only free to members. There is a deer park and woodland walks with a boardwalk to a secluded lake. Also a NT house which we have not visited due to time pressure on us.
The views from town centre 'valley-side' back streets also impressive.
Not being a 100% sure on what to expect, I bought a small fresh loaf and butter from the bakers in Llandeilo, but the host provided a fine continental breakfast with extra items also, which would've been fine for me.
I was certainly made welcome by the host.
Lovely clean & comfortable, quiet house, with WIFI and TV, and parking available.
My collie was also made very welcome.
The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.
The food - read in previous reviews that the menu is limited but in our opinion there was enough to choose from to make each night different. The meals we had including mains & desserts were all of excellent quality with fresh tasty ingredients presented well & served hot. The hotel bar was always busy too but never had to wait to be served - Probably the best beer garden in town 👍
The room was clean, spacious and well presented with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Large bathroom with towels and toiletries.
This was an absolutely exceptional home to stay in. It was comfortable, well stocked with what you would need, and had plenty of room. Llandeilo is a small town, and it was quiet and relaxing, a very nice respite. The view from the rooms is a beautiful church, and while some might think having a graveyard across the street is creepy, it wasnt. The whole atmosphere of a small town with a country church, quiet streets... well it was exactly what we were looking for.
Great location, just a short drive to the nearby village with lots to do. Huge garden area with a cosy BBQ hut. Lots of amenities supplied (wooden skewers to roast marshmallows. Coal, firelighters, wood and matches to start the BBQ. Tea, coffee, sugar as well as lots of condiments. There was lots of cooking equipment (toaster, air fryer, toasty maker) making it very easy to cook; it was like everything had been thought about!!
Peaceful and picturesque location. cosy quaint cottage, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 6 month old daughter Thea and lively pointer Daisy Dog with lovely surrounding meadow fields and woodland to explore as part of the property and fab play area around the back. plenty of space for parking.Lucy and Ben very warm and friendly hosts. Thank you!
Excellent quality accommodation, refurbed to a very high contemporary standard. Everything you need for a short stay. Short walk from Llandeilo Town centre and a good base to visit Llandovery (20min drive) and Lampeter (35min drive). Pleasant small towns. Carreg Cennen castle worth a visit for stunning views, a short walk steep walk from the castle car park.
We loved the quiet location, still only 5mins drive to local amenities in Llandeilo. Good base for many scenic walks. The cottage is tiny but has everything you would ever need for your stay. The welcome pack was a very nice touch!
We had our nervous dog with us who particularly enjoyed the enclosed garden area.
Everything was good
Staff were very nice and very dog friendly
The room was really spacious and comfortable
The food is very good too
And the location is beautiful with gardens and seats outside and lovely views
Llandeilo is sweet and lovely cafes and shops and ofcourse nearby countryside is wonderful
Very comfortable and well appointed with great location and views. Spacious property which was furnished and finished to a very high standard with several bathrooms, which was ideal for a large group. Spacious dining area with fantastic views across the valley added to the occasion.
Very comfortable stay in the unit ,very clean & neat..hosts very attentive and in contact.
Definitely will stay again if ever back in the area...
Our friends were so happy and surprised with the place..
Location is great and close to the little town & restaurants
Gerard is very friendly an knowledgeable about Wales. He had quite some suggestions for us where to go.
The house itself is beautiful. Very spacious and comfortable. It reached our top 5 of holiday homes we have rented over the years.
Super comfy, clean and well equipped space located in a beautiful part of Wales. The caravan is set in its own secluded and lush meadow with access to a covered outdoor space with fire bowl
and seating area for hanging out.
The staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. The staff work very hard in every department and the area where the hotel is ,it allowed us to travel around different areas and visit local sites .
We stayed in room 4, family suite . The rooms and bathroom was spacious and clean. Parking easy and only 10 mins walk into Llandeilo. Nice continental breakfast.
