Not our first visit here, so obviously we like it. Cosy hotel, really nice staff/owners. We love the bar/restaurant area, and we had i nice dinner even though we arrived quite late. The view over the lake is magnificent, so don't hesitate to go for the sea view rooms

The family provided us with a warm welcome, including our dog, and everything was very homely. The Croft is beautifully decorated, breakfast was a delight, and the good hot shower was appreciated after a day hill walking.

Full of character and charm, warm and welcoming on a Scottish ‘spring’ day! Fabulous breakfast and the hosts were very accommodating and prepared me a lunch for my day trip. Great location.

The extremely helpful and friendly service and all the facilities we needed.
Very scenic.
Easy to drive to St Fillans, Callender, Killin (a must to see the Falls of Dochart), Kenmore, Crieff, Aberfeldy.
Also close to Balquhidder, where lies the grave of Rob Roy in a lovely little churchyard, with a scenic walk along by a little river. Close to Loch Voil.
Also, not too long a drive to Loch Lomond.
Opportunities for water sports at both Loch Earn and Loch Tay, plus bike / walking trails, and walks along the south sides of both lochs.
Lovely meals at Clachan Cottage hotel, plus nearby Killin.

Went to lochearnhead to walk up Ben Vorlich, which we did before we booked into our hotel, glad we did as the next day the weather changed, but that did not stop us touring the few local places had coffee and tea and ate at local restaurants.

Very relaxing.
This is a very small village so don’t expect much by way of facilities.
Great for walking and exploring and I would imagine water sports (otherwise bring a good book)

The location was stunning.
The location was stunning. It had a great outdoor seating area for either drinking or eating. To the west was Oban 58 miles or Fort William was 68 miles. East was Creiff and Perth. The town of Callender was 15-20min drive. So as a base,it was fan. We would gladly go back.

The croft is very quaint but we were unable to lock our bedroom door, which we found unsettling. Especially when the cat push the door open and tried to open the window shutters to get outside at 4.30am. Our host promised a cooked breakfast between 8 and 9.30 but we waited, and waited with no sign of them. Eventually we left the others whilst other guests stood around looking hungry and bemused.
The hotel is easy to find with dedicated parking for B&B visitors. Really lovely breakfast with all the usual options available. Alistair the host was great, he made you feel welcome and we felt that anything would be done to make our stay comfortable. We didn't have a doggie with us but they are also very welcome. It is alongside the road but the windows are well glazed and we were not disturbed by the traffic. Dinner is provided for folk staying which is also really helpful.
Lovely hotel, great hosts and staff they couldn't have been more accommodating and were so genuine and friendly. It's a lovely relaxing location overlooking the loch. The rooms are comfortable and everything is very clean. The evening meals were really top notch, with lots of choice.
We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts are great, really top quality ingredients. This is a real gem of a place and we would happily book again and recommend
We selected this property specifically for its location near the Highland Games for a one night stay. After traveling around the area all day (hiking, boat) we were ready to relax. The building was attractive and the space very good. Our room was lovely and fit our needs nicely. The breakfast was fantastic - food delicious and staff friendly. We highly recommend this property.
We stayed in six different hotel/B&B accommodations in London, Bletchley, Edinburgh, Beauly, and Ft William during our 9-day trip. Clachan Cottage was hands down the most comfortable and the scenery is wonderful! We ate dinner and breakfast at Clachan Cottage - the restaurant and bar are excellent! The bartender and waitstaff were fantastic! On-site parking is so convenient
The house is beautiful, the room and the en-suite are really comfortable and well equipped. Melanie is a lovely host and the breakfast was delicious. There's two adorable cats and sweet little dog to hang out with too which is a real bonus. It's a 1 minute walk down to the loch and there's loads of nice walks and other amazing scenery nearby too.
Wonderful view from the room with watersports on the doorstep, and the hotel has a restaurant and bar on site. We just stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby, but we were thinking of booking another weekend away here to enjoy what the area has to offer! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with a friend and pet pup! Alistair is a great host and made us feel most welcome.
The room was very clean and had everything we could ask for - liked having a fridge for cold drinks/milk etc!
Breakfast was also great, a good fuel up for walks in the surrounding area.
Lovely hosts John and Katy very Friendly and Great company.
Breakfast was really nice each morning
Excellent views of lochearnhead in a beautiful setting.
Rooms were very comfortable.
The hosts stunning Great Dane dog Blue is a real character and made a warm welcome more memorable
Lovely location just outside the village of Lochearnhead and with beautiful views into the hills - loads of wildlife about. Having access to the loch was great and made it easy to access with canoe and SUP. Plenty of things to do in the area - for all interests
This is a great place to stay. It overlooks Loch Earn, which is not as famous as the other Lochs, and so was more preferable for me. The hotel and room were clean and the room was spacious. The hostess, Amanda, was very accommodating and approachable.
The breakfast at the Golden Arches was wonderful. It was made to order and had many choices. The room was comfortable with plenty of light. But the best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of Andrea and Tim. They made the stay special.
John and Scott are wonderful hosts and all-around kind, personable people. We loved sitting around the fireplace in the living room, sipping on some whiskies from their fantastic curated bar menu. And the breakfast was exceptional.
Friendly staff. A good stop between Edinburgh and Skye, if you stop off somewhere like Stirling castle. We enjoyed the local feel. The restaurant/bar food was solid and good, but dont expect upscale. Its just good local food
Accommodation and facilities in the log cabins were high standard. Kitchen items, dishwasher was a plus. View from the balcony deck was awesome. Near to all local walks and lochs.
