The 2 ladies that seemed to carry out most of the public tasks were brilliant, always happy and smiling and willing to help when they were required. The evening meals were good and perfectly cooked and after returning to the bar we were able to get drinks and sit and relax until 10ish.
The breakfast was excellent, the 'full english' was huge and set us up for the day. However there was not much of a selection of cereal and no fruit or bread rolls etc as found in some hotels

Very dog friendly, food was excellent. The room had everything needed & the fact they included dog beds, bowls & treats was amazing. I loved the dog friendly seating which made us feel very relaxed knowing we were sat around other dog owners.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks.
Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Malham is absolutely beautiful.
Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.

Malham walks are a must.
Malham walks are a must. Two main walks that I did were both great. The malham cove walk is challenging and you need plenty of energy and the second walk to gordale scar/Janet's foss is a very easy walk and a must too. It is also good for dogs. The two pubs are welcoming and friendly. Easy to get around and the old barn cafe has lovely staff and sensible prices.
Lovely quirky, quaint hotel nestled in a scenic location. Staff were friendly and welcoming at reception. Room was small but newly and tastefully decorated and had a clean and modern ensuite. The hotel had a lovely restaurant area, again looked newly refurbished and tastefully done, the food in the evening was amazing (I had the Sunday roast) Very dog friendly if you are a dog owner. A warm and cosy snug to sit and have a drink by the fire, we would definitely return in the summer to enjoy the outside seating by the river.
Staff were friendly, bar served good range of drinks and food. The fillet steak for dinner was delicious, my partner also enjoyed the Sunday roast. Breakfast was good and again staff's service was attentive. We stayed in the Lister barn located just round the corner from the main bar, which had a communal area to relax in. Staff advised us to help ourselves to the water and milk. Malham is a beautiful location with plenty on offer when exploring the Yorkshire dales.
Absolutely beautiful stay at Miresfield, the rooms were gorgeous so spacious, comfy and decorated beautifully, loved the touch of some homemade biscuits too. Breakfast was fabulous, loveliest staff to welcome us and take our orders for breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect, can take a walk to Malham cove or explore the near by villages, free parking at the hotel too. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning!
We loved our 2 night stay at this wonderful old pub! Malham is such a quaint, beautiful village and it's location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales NP with Malham Cove just a very short walk away...
The room was very comfortable and the food at the pub was excellent, especially the breakfast. A big shout out to Tim who was charming and very attentive looking after us at breakfast both mornings!!
A lovely location just over a mile from Malham. Comfortable room, excellent food and beers, but what really makes this place is the exceptional welcome from the lovely owners and staff. Perfect base for walking with car parking in a designated area across from the church next door. Can’t wait to return! Thank you to you all!
Everything about Beck Hall is exceptional. Malham is a beautiful place, second to none location for walks, free parking when staying, caters for all diets (serves breakfast, lunch and dinner). Tastefully decorated, wonderful staff, peaceful and quirky, great value - and dog friendly. Highly recommend.
Stayed overnight on a long distance walk. It's close enough to Malham and the Pennine Way goes right thru it. Perfect location. And the FOOD was WOW. Better than either of the pubs in Malham and the real ale selection was impressive. Breakfast was superb as well. Nothing to complain about here.
Spacious room and bath in what might be the most picturesque inn we've ever stayed. The facilities were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere of the inn, pub, and patio were so lovely and the location in Malham was perfectly situated to walk to Malham Cove.
This little cottage is a gem. Comfortable, warm and cosy and perfectly located for exploring Malham and the surrounding area.
Thank you to the owners for the little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) which were very much appreciated after a long journey.
Fabulous location; walk from YHA Malham to Janet Foss, Gordale Scar waterfall and Malham Cove viewpoint, circular walk of three hours across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Comfortable rooms and very clean, with good bacon baps breakfast available!
Close to most things in and around Malham. 20 to 30 mins to local pubs with great food. Excellent for walkers with dogs, plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. Close to other towns with things to do.
