Kacey was a brilliant host and met all our needs.
Definitely a good place to stay especially if heading of to Orkney from Gillsbay as its at the bottom of the road 2 mins away!

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!

We had a front room, large with a generous sized wet room, the view from our room was over fields and we had a perfect sunset. Graham has put as many useful items in room as possible and more for cleaning bikes, cars - whatever. Breakfast was nicely cooked and generous. Super friendly host.

The location worked for me, although it is a bit of a drive from Thurso town center, but close to other sites that were more important to me!!!
